I read that you voted against the entertainment tax, I have to disagree with your vote.
My name is Vernon Davis & I live in the Josyln Castle Neighborhood.
The 2010 budget isn’t a bed of roses. We have to balance the budget, the Federal Government doesn’t do that. The Great State of Nebraska has a reserve fund, and that is a great idea.
I would love to have seen the entertainment tax pass with a sunset provision in 3 years, and reviewable every year until no longer needed. The property tax rate increase will have to be greater than what was proposed, UNLESS there is a City Income Tax passed.

I don’t k now what is best. The bad part of this tax is it singles out an industry.
That’s almost like singliing out people who rent instead of owning…Maybe add a yearly tax for that too?. OR say if you own a foreign car?.>
AND lord knows, I sure don’t want property tax to go up!..
I”m glad there are people wiser then me workin gon this problem…lol
