Letter to the my Council Member

Good Morning,

I read that you voted against the entertainment tax, I have to disagree with your vote.

My name is Vernon Davis & I live in the Josyln Castle Neighborhood.

The 2010 budget isn’t a bed of roses. We have to balance the budget, the Federal Government doesn’t do that. The Great State of Nebraska has a reserve fund, and that is a great idea.

I would love to have seen the entertainment tax pass with a sunset provision in 3 years, and reviewable every year until no longer needed. The property tax rate increase will have to be greater than what was proposed, UNLESS there is a City Income Tax passed.
