This admendment was introducted but ruled out of order S.AMDT.2716 to H.R.4297To establish a congressional commission to examine the Federal, State,and local response to the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina inthe Gulf Region of the United States especially in the States ofLouisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and other areas impacted in theaftermath and make immediate corrective measures to improve suchresponses in the future.. Chuck was busy he voted yea to pass H.R. 4659 ‘A bill to amend the USA PATRIOT ACT to extend the sunset of certain provisions of such Act.’ He will be getting a letter on that. Ben Nelson also voted yea, he will be getting the same letter. It extended the Patroit act until Marcxh 10th. He also voted yea to pass H.R. 4297 ‘ A bill to provide for reconciliation pursuant to section 201(b) of the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2006.’ Tax crap, Nelson voted yea on this too.
Lee Terry was not in action much.
