Here’s your forecast

It’ll be smiley today, with a 2060% chance of you doing something BRAND NEW.

Today is Friday 11/22/V3.4 & it is an Omaha snowday.

Now if I’m to do something brand new, I better had start thinking on it now. I’ve done quite a few things in my days. I could go to a new restaurant or evening venue. any ideas?

The word of the day is protoplast which is a person or thing that is formed first; original; prototype.

I got a blog entry I’m working on. But this one will contain facts & figures. Need to be at the machine where I can have multiple browsers windows open side by side.

Make it a fantastic forecast.

Comment on a Story

I’m just sharing my comment on this story – Police union files challenge to city’s decision denying some benefits to same-sex spouses – Omaha.com in case it gets moderated.

In this article and the interview with another news outlet* she said that she would be willing to negotiate with the Union. Just like she did with the Fire Union. AT the Present Time there are only 7 (of the thousands) of employees who have requested this benefit. The State of Nebraska recognizes a Marriage between a Man & a Lady. The citizens of Nebraska decided in 2000. If we fill that it is time to change that we will have to use the petition process to change our constitution. Mayor Jean Stothert is doing the right thing.

The other news outlet was KMTV Action 3 News. Same-Sex Couples Fight For Additional City Benefits – www.kmtv.com

I have included KIOS’s story here as well. Union wants health care benefits extended to same-sex married couples | 91.5 KIOS-FM

Spoilers & The Hunger Games

So people will start seeing The Hunger Games: Catching fire in just over an hour.

People are entitled to talk about the movie as soon as they get out of it. On the internet, in person, in the newspaper.

There are 2 reasons that this is possible.

A: Prince Edward said so: This is my word… and as such is beyond contestation.
B. It was a book, if you want to read the book. Visit Omaha Public Library to make a reservation and check out the book and read it.

There I SAID IT!

Quotes from the World for Thursday 11/21/MXIII

Making peace, I have found, is much harder than making war.

Let This Happen

So there has been a change of SOP for Thursday.

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I’m going to do laundry this afternoon instead of in the morning, we will see how this works.

Today is Thursday 11/21/V3.4 & it shall be a great day.

Well it is a balmy, 0 – degrees outside. Good think I’m inside, where it is a comfy condition where I don’t have to wear pants. I Love the Pants Free Zone.

This weekend is looking to be another great weekend. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens, I’m planning to go see it after work on Friday. Aksarben Cinema has it showing at 1600 & 1630, so I’ll go see it at one of those times. No one else of Team Vernon J has expressed interest in seeing this. The comment section below is where you disagree with me and write, I WANNA GO!

The word of the day is snarky which is testy or irritable; short.

Enjoy your day & Make it Work.

Taking Steps

We are going to take steps to be awesome.

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday. Today is a I fixed the display issue day.

Today is 11/20/V3.4.

Last day of the work frame. I think I might pull up laundry day to tonight. Maybe some of it, I can put the last load in at 22.00. The reason I’d do it today is so I could go see About Time tomorrow.

Aksarben Cinema has a 1035 show. O have an appointment in the ending time frame. See how life works out for you when you do some planning?

The word of the day is irredentist which is a member of a party in any country advocating the acquisition of some region included in another country.

Yesterday was a fine day. Work, food, & friends.

I finished reading Terry Goodkind’s Third Kingdom. Another good book by Terry. I then went to the Benson Branch to get some new ones.
I’ve never read this authors before. So it wad just some random picks. That is why I got four. I did pick A Guile of Dragons. Dragons are majestic vicious killing machines. I hope it is about Dragons.

I also got to hangout with a dog today.

What’s going on this weekend?

Any Activity

1000’s of smiles.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! Today is Tuesday 11/19/V3.4 & it is a day to rejoice.

We have 1000’s of smiles we can see throughout the week, are you contributing to the average?

I picked a short sleeve shirt, I then changed my mind and grabbed a sweater.

This was me lady night before 2100.

A nice relaxing evening & all wrapped up. I was in bed by 2115. A good night’s sleep was had. No dreams cine to mind right now.

The 2nd thong I changed my mind about was lunch. I remember I had some tortilla chips & bacon ranch cheddar dip. I was disappointed in the number of broken chips though. I had to be selective in my selection.

The word of the day is commix which is to mix together; blend.

Mayor Ford’s issue reminds me of the recall effort of Omaha’s last Mayor. Mayor Ford had done multiple illegal & questionable things. He is acting like it is right. Aside from the legality issues, some would consider it a moral issue. I’m one of those people.

Now the City Council can’t remove him from office and he isn’t resigning. Here in Nebraska we can petition to recall someone cause they wore black shoes instead of brown shoes. Both of those situations are extreme.

Elected officials should be removed or recalled for sound verifiable actions against the law. Inconsistent leadership is a failure of a Government body.

What do you think?
