Quotes from the World for Tuesday 11/26/MXIII

We should treat our minds, that is, ourselves, as innocent and ingenuous children, whose guardians we are, and be careful what objects and what subjects we thrust on their attention.

The word of the day is wroth which is stormy; violent; turbulent.

Work was fine, no funny stories to share today.

Looking forward to tonight.

Make it a GREAT day!

Let’s See

So I posted a little something on facebook about ‘business being open on  Thanksgiving.

Good Afternoon & Happy Sunday. Today is Sunday 11/24/V3.4 & it is a NASCAR free day.

I always like to present some information that has ‘outraged’ people. I like to see if people are really outraged, or they are just liking & sharing because it is easy. Let’s see if there is any response to my post. Now I’m going to lay my cards on the table, I didn’t work on Thursday 11/22/V3.3 & I ain’t working Thursday 11/21/V3.4. I have Thursday’s off. But I do work Wednesday 12/25/V3.4 & Wednesday 01/01/V3.4, cause I work Wednesdays.

As I always tell people. When you agreed to work at your place of employment you knew what you were getting into. YES it may suck, but to provide for you family you’ve got to make money.

The word of the day is za-zen which is meditation in a prescribed, cross-legged posture.

Now I don’t have to leave the house today, so if I do leave the house it is because I want to.

Congrats to UNO Hockey on their sweep of MU. It is the 1st sweep since of that team since 2002.

Congrats to UNO Basketball on a Win at home & a well played game at Drake.

Here is the text of that post, I know some of my readers aren’t my friend on facebook. p.s. Don’t go added me either, cause I will deny that request.

I’m posting this now, but if anyone comments, or mentions me on Google+ or twitter I’ll post another entry.

Quotes from the World for Sunday 11/24/MXIII

I have forced myself to contradict myself in order to avoid conforming to my own taste.

Quotes from the World for Saturday 11/23/MXIII

Surely the day will come when color means nothing more than skin tone, when religion is seen uniquely as a way to speak one’s soul; when birth places have the weight of a throw of the dice and all men are born free, when understanding breeds love and brotherhood.

Josephine Baker
Josephine Baker (1906–1975), French dancer and singer; born in United States. Josephine, ch. 16 (1977).

Written in 1963. Baker, a black performer, married a white Frenchman and assembled a multiracial, multireligion family of adopted children.

All in time

All in time & it’ll be mine.

Today is Saturday 11/23/V3.4 & I’m going back to New Orleans.

I don’t know what all is, when we figure it out. You will be the 3rd – nth person to find out.

Let’s start this off strong. I went & saw The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The Gamemaker, Haymitch, & others had a plan to rescue Katness from the Arena.

They ended the movie with Katness finding out District 12 had been demolished. I was like you cant end it there. I then went back & read the last chapter of the book. It was just how they described it.

The word of the day is tenuity which is thinness of consistency; rarefied condition.

I’m not going to New Orleans. The only place I’ll be going is home, g-store, possible the hockey game & the bar.

The rest of the day was great as well.

Got my hair done, ate, worked, laughed & lived.
