This is a REAL Question

From Carolyn Hax

I won’t judge the 1st entry.

BUT let’s take a look at the second entry:

Hi, Carolyn:

What is the best way to respond to a boyfriend who doesn’t tell you what he wants, but then punishes you when he doesn’t get it (by pouting, acting distant, etc.)? Is there any hope for working this out? My last attempt — pointing out that I didn’t know what he wanted because he didn’t tell me — was met with by silence.

Anonymous Significant Other

“I’m sorry, I do not want to be in a relationship where I get punished for not reading your mind. I hope you find a way to express what you need, because I do care about you and want you to be with someone who makes you happy. Goodbye and good luck.”

Now any man who has been on the receiving end of ‘I’m Fine’ ‘Nothings wrong’ please do say WHA-WHA after reading this. NOW I’m not sure if ASO is a lady or a man. But her question is just asking for this

We have to deal with it all the time.
