Today is Friday 12/24/V3.1 & its a day off for Vernon J(FROM Food Bank for the Heartland).
Vernon J has been schooling people in the recall election for Omaha means. The election is Tuesday 01/25/V3.1 & you have two choices. You can vote to retain Mayor Jim Suttle who was duly elected by 50.73% of the voters on Tuesday 05/12/2009, or you can vote to kick him out of office. I URGE you to vote to retain Mayor Suttle. You will get your chance to vote him out of office(IF YOU SO CHOOSE) on Tuesday 05/15/V3.2.
I don’t know if you voted or not. If you did vote I want you to go out and continue to show your support for the Mayor. If you didn’t vote on Tuesday 05/12, you can just stay home like you chose to do then. There is NO make up vote.
You had plenty of time to send in your vote or go to the poll on election day. I don’t wanna hear your excuses of why you didn’t vote.

So on KETV’s fanpage, a lady (let’s call her Courtney) posted something intresting.
‘Courtney Haite @chauncey we all did get out and vote.. the majority of registered voters did vote but they voted for him cuz he said he was going to fix everything and make it better.. but his way of fixing it turned out to be taxing this and taxing that.its a bunch of bs and once january 25 comes and we have the election it will be over and he wiol be gone’ You can see for yourself here.
So I went to www.VoteDouglasCounty.org & found out the registred number of voters in the primary election. A MAJORITY of the people did not vote in the general election. In my lifetime I’ve learned that a majorithy is 50% of the total + 1. Only 76,122 people voted for the Mayor in the 2009 General Election. That’s 31.494% of the registered voters as of March 29, 2009, & 31.480% of the registered votes as of May 1, 2009. Neither one of those are a majority.
Those are opinions, those are facts.

Courtney said that she did vote in the 2009 general election & plans to vote on Tuesday 01/25/V3.1. I’ve learned that she isn’t a comedian.

I have a job.
So I go and buy what I want. I also have the same expectation of my friends.
I would rather donate to charity then buy a gift.
I hope more people donate to charity & stop thinking its what do I want & who’s going to give it to me?
