Good Afternoon Everyone, I hope you are enjoying the great weather we are having in Omaha today.

Well as of Thursday 12/09/V3.1, my half birthday.  My Birthday is Thursday 06/09/V3.2. 

I accepted a position of SNAP Outreach Specialist at work.

I will have new duties, challenges, & adventures thoughout the State of Nebraska.

The State of Nebraska is making a change to how the DHHS provides services.  It is going away from Case Managers as Social Workers, receipents will apply for benefits online, and then contact a call center when needed assistant.  Food Bank for the Heartland & Food Bank of Lincoln has been given an oppotunity to go out accross Nebraska and set up kiosks that allow people to sign up to receive these services.

I welcome this challenge.  I willl start this position on Monday 01/10/V3.1.

There is snow on teh ground, that means it isn’t ideal driving conditions.
