This accident happened on September 28th, 2005 in Riverview FL. A careless driver on a cell phone blazed through a red light at 55 mph and struck my mom’s drivers door as she was going 20 mph attempting to make a left turn towards home. Her car was pushed 40 feet and my mom’s neck was broken in 2 places. She died instantly. As her daughter, and someone that had to go to the scene to identify her, I can’t tell you enough-
DRIVE SAFELY! OTHER PEOPLES LIVES DEPEND ON IT! My Mom always wore her seltbelt and was a very cautious driver. My sister and I, her fiance’ (she was due to marry him the next week) , brother and grandson will miss her forever. The other driver has not been charged with anything due to no witnesses willing to get involved and make a statement at the scene.

This attached photos depict a truck accident that occurred in BANFF NATIONAL PARK – Alberta, Canada on July 20, 2004. The tractor and trailer left the roadway on a left curve in the roadway after the driver reached for his cell phone. After travelling across the shoulder adjacent to the roadway, the unit rolled in a jack-knifed profile coming to rest against a rock embankment next to a mainline railway.
The driver survived the incident and actually returned to the scene several hours later after release and treatment at a local hospital.
The cargo consisted of fresh cherries and peaches and was totally destroyed after being contaminated by diesel fuel. The tractor portion of the unit was less than one month old having left the Kenworth assembly line on June 30, 2004.
I think my girlfriend is gonna get killed behind the wheel one day. THIS IS HER 2nd WRECK THIS YEAR!!

She wasn’t PAYING ATTENTION TO HER DRIVING WHEN IT HAPPENED… SHE WAS PUTTING A CELL PHONE COVER ON HER CELL PHONE. (LIKE SHE NEEDED ANOTHER…) BANG! SHE CROSS’D THE LINE & HIT AN Audi TT IN KINGSPORT, TN, ON HER WAY BACK FROM THE MALL.
The car rolled one-and-a-half times in MID-AIR, & THEN IT LAND’D ON IT’S TOP before flipping over ON IT’S WHEELS FROM HITTING A HUGE ROCK. MICHELLE WASN’T HURT… JUST SHAKEN…
Don’t get me wrong, I was mad, but, unlike most boyfriends, I told her that is was just a car the main thing was that she wasn’t hurt.

Yes this is meant to scare you, & I do care. PUT DOWN THAT DAMN CELL PHONE & Drive. There isn’t anything that important that can’t wait 20 mins. It’s f’n stupid to drive and talk or text on the phone.
