You may know this story, you probably don’t.

I am orginally from Kalamazoo, MI; been in Omaha since October 19, 2004.

I went to foster care in January 1995, I was 15 y.o., my mom were abusive.  Nothing I could do about it now or then.  Glad I went, I wouldn’t be the Vernon I am today if I didn’t.

So my sister(s), dad, & brother called me in like June, I’m not that impressed.  I have friends, becasue I like those people.  You are my friend because you generally are a good person, you don’t do stupid shit.  But I can say that when I decided not to talk to my family it was a good thing.  Not many of them(8 total), are doing much to impress me. They wouldn’t be my friends, becasue of there decisions they made/making.

I chose good people to hang around in Omaha, you KNOW who you are, I DON’T have to name you.

I also talked to a couple people from high school, Emily Dush, and Hope Robertson.  It was my 10 year reunion, and that’s that.

Maybe you learned something, maybe you didn’t but that’s that.

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Maybe, my NYR was beyond my control. But I met a lot of ladies this year.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I worked on a successful election campaign

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? NO, but I found out I have a whole in my hear.
11. What was the best thing you bought? My new digital camera
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? The movement amount young voters, that actually voted
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? too many to mention
14. Where did most of your money go? Rent & Food
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? I had a date @ Disney Live, I was pretty excited about that

34. What kept you sane? Knowing that I can make friends no problem, being called cute by a lady 20-30

36. What political issue stirred you the most? The fact that National Healthcare kinda disappeared after the economy started coming back to reality
37. Who did you miss? I missed my hair, problem solved on 11/28/08
