H. R. 5218 To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide that oil and gas companies will not be eligible for the effective rate reductions enacted in 2004 for domestic manufacturers.

H. R. 5223 To establish the National Commission on Surveillance Activities and the Rights of Americans.

H. R. 5228 To require representatives of governments designated as State Sponsors of Terrorism to disclose to the Attorney General lobbying contacts with legislative branch officials, and for other purposes.

H. R. 5248 To regulate over-the-counter trading of energy derivatives. This is a bad move, interfering in the market of anything. This bill was introduced by my former Congressman from Michigan.

H. R. 5251 To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to encourage the use of alternative fuel vehicles, and for other purposes.
S. 2680 A bill to facilitate the increased use of alternative fuels for motor vehicles, and for other purposes. This should not include Hydrogen fuel. It is a great zero emissions fuel, but the transporting/refining activities is not better than gasoline.

S. J. Res. 35 A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to clarify that the Constitution neither prohibits voluntary prayer nor requires prayer in schools. A constitutional amendment, yeah. Don’t hold your breath, will take years to become law.

S. 2663 A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to establish grant programs to provide for education and outreach on newborn screening and coordinated follow-up care once newborn screening has been conducted, to reauthorize programs under part A of title XI of such Act, and for other purposes.

S. 2675 A bill to amend title 49, United States Code, to set minimum fuel economy requirements for federal vehicles, to authorize grants to States to purchase fuel efficient vehicles, and for other purposes. Good, they better be 40+ MPG in the next three years within passage of this bill. and fuel efficient should become a quantitative figure.

S. 2677 A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to extend the investment tax credit with respect to solar energy property and qualified fuel cell property, and for other purposes.

There were several oil bills dealing with the tax code. I mentioned two of them, of course my position is. Gas is too high, stop buying it. It will go down.
