Softball Update

Because of that bastard know as snow. The softball game is cancelled, but there is a game on Saturday at 12 PM. I will be going to that game instead.

CHUCK HAGEL TO GIVE ALPHA SIGMA NU LECTURE AT CREIGHTON

Fr. Kelley, S.J., Lecture to be given United States Sen. Chuck Hagel at 5:45 p.m., Friday, March 31, in the Creighton School of Law Gross Appellate Court Room.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with the lecture scheduled to begin at 5:45. A question-and-answer session will follow the lecture, which is free and open to the public.

Hagel is Nebraska’s senior U.S. senator and is serving his second term in the United States Senate. He received an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Creighton University’s School of Law and was named the Omaha World-Herald’s 2005″Midlander of the Year.”

Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society, which focuses on scholarship, loyalty and service, was established at Marquette University in 1915. There are 32 Jesuit colleges and universities throughout the United States with Alpha Sigma Nu chapters, including Creighton’s, which began in 1921.
