A Million Five

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday,

A million Five units left before the end of the work week. That’s XIX hours, I’ll let you do the math to figure out how big a unit is.

Today is Wednesday 08/07/V3.4 & we are not done yet.

Never be done when there is time.

This story is pathetic, so someone’s sun goes to the hospitial and it gets news coverage. I tuned out cause there is MORE important things to worry about.

So yup, there shall be work, home, work, home today. Nothing extraordinary today. That doesn’t mean we won’t have an awesome day.

Moment + Positive Attitude = Hope

Good Morning & Happy Thursday.

If you have a moment and a positive attitude, you’ve got hope.

Today is Thursday 08/01/V3.4 & it is a BRAND NEW MONTH!

I know the last time someone had Hope as a mantra, it didn’t work out so well for some of us. It worked out well for some of us.

That’s how much I want you you to share a positive attitude. Someone used that H word, so I just thought I would find out why. I hope my post to them, has encouraged some happiness in them.

Well I did get up before my alarm went off, yes today is my day off. BUT I won’t be spending it at home relaxing on the couch sipping on mimosa’s. I’m helping out The Salvation Army with Kids’ Crusin’ Kitchen again today. How can I help, well I’m driving.

The word of the day is bemused whcih is bewildered or confused.

My Report

Good Afternoon!

So let’s run down Vernon J’s schedule for the rest of the evening.

  • 1630 – Wash Dishes
  • 1700 or after washing dishes Start making dinner.
  • 1730 or after making dinner eat dinner
  • After dinner, relax, go on a walk with my neighbor.
  • 2000 get ready for bed
  • 2100 Go to bed.

For dinner I’m having a bratwurst/turkey burger combination, Some pasta with Red Sauce, Alfredo, or Parmesan sauce. I’ve got tomato and romaine for my burger. I don’t think I need a saladid, but don’t pressure me.

Exciting

Good Morning & Happy Monday,

Today is Monday 06/17/V3.4 & it is JIm’s 28th Birthday!!!  Wish him a happy Birthday in the comments or via twitter. Jim G (J_G_II) on Twitter

YESTERDAY was a good day for Team Vernon J. Well it started with work, I had a sneaky suspicious that I would finish reading a book and I did. I had a back-up plan. So that made it great. I then went down to the CWS (that’s College World Series of Baseball) and came home $25 richer. I entered the Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin’ Challenge. Eat 12 Blazin’ wings in 6 mins. I redeemed myself from the Crescent Moon Eating Challenge. I beat a guy who competed yesterday.

Then I cam home had some Blue Bunny Premium Ice Cream Red Carpet Red Velvet Cake™, I then went to the grocery store. I was home by seven and made lunch, showered, read, and then went to bed.

I’m now watching The Back Up Plan, cause there is nothing else to do at 05.00. I decided that watching the news in the morning is making me later than I would like it to be. So I’ve made an executive decision. I will try to watch the 17.00 news and 16.00 news. OR I just won’t watch and I think I’ll be fine.

The word of the day is phosphoresce which is to be luminous without sensible heat.

Don’t go OPS.org, you have to go to www.OPS.org. I don’t know why people make things SO difficult. The Board of Education Meeting is today, I’ll be there. Current Meetings – Omaha Public Schools. It is important that we know what is going on with OPS, as the media and OPS fail to do that.

Well we are nearing the 300 word count, not that I give myself a limit on the number of words/characters that I share with you.

Going to the Valley

Good Morning & Happy Thursday,

Going to the Valley of day off, we are on the last day of my work week.

Today is Thursday 06/13/V3.3 and it is the FIRST day of the weekend.

Looking forward to this weekend, today I’m going on the Taco Ride at the present time. My co-riders are probably sleeping right now. Friday I’m going to see the Man of Steel, now the question depends on what time. I could go see it before noon for $5.00 at Aksarben Cinema, or later. Saturday we go back to work and have Dawn & Mike’s reception.

That’s my plan, it is of course up for quality adjustments.

WAIT for it!

I’m now coming to you from the work location.

I know I was cold yesterday & what do I do today? I wear a short sleeve shirt, but a Vernon J’s gotta do what a Vernon J’s gotta do.

Yesterday was a wonderful day. Got off work at 5 after 15.00, instead of the crazy 21 after 16.00 like Tuesday. That is why 15.05>16.21, if you follow me on twitter you would’ve seen that.

How about the Boston Bruins leading by two in the 3rd & losing by 1 in triple overtime? Nope I didn’t watch the games. I found out about overtime from Bridget & the Blackhawks win via Janece on twitter. You gotta be on twitter to BE IN THE KNOW! Majority of my news comes from there. NO WAITING, NO TEASERS, just the news I want/need when I want/need it.

Well I think that’s enough time for now.

Way Back Then

Good Morning & Happy Friday,

Why Back Then in 1994, did you think we’d be where we are today?

Today is Friday 05/24/V3.3 & we are XVI days away from my Birthday!!!

I was in Michigan, Kalamazoo, on my way or at South Middle School right now. Doing my last year of middle school. It only took me 4 years to complete 7th & 8th grade. One of those is a lie, it took me just two years to do two years of schooling.

You have to go to shop to get today’s Nook Free Friday book. Head to Head by Linda Ladd.

Although I won’t read that for months. I’m currently reading Sweet Shadows by Tera Lynn Childs. It is going well so far.

The word of the day is skeuomorph which is a design on an object copied from a form of the object when made from another material or by other techniques.

So what does Team Vernon J have going on this weekend. Less than 42 hours to go before it is over. I know on Saturday Morning we are going to be driving in the La Vista Daze Parade. We should go to church and pick up stuff from work. Once those three things are done, we are free to enjoy. Although we have to be up at 04.28 on Sunday.

Work starts at 06.30 proper, not a minute later than that. I am done with training as of later today & start my regular schedule. That’s Saturday – Wednesday 06.30 to 15.00 for weeks upon weeks.

I do have Monday 05/27/V3.3 off & anticipate going to the Memorial Park, Memorial Day events. All Gave Some & SOME GAVE ALL! I just gave some, thanks to all my fellow veterans who gave all. Thanks to the Veterans like me. Thanks to the current serving members of the Armed Forces.

I have a current offer on the table to call L if I go out. That’s the best offer I have right now, so we’ll see how I feel after work. I could make a game day call & go pick up stuff at work tonight. There’s a 33% chance of that happening. Right now there is also a 33% chance of me coming home after work. There’s a 50% chance of me coming home, AT ALL tonight.

So quick run down. 33% chance of me picking up stuff from work. 33% chance of me coming home after work. 33% chance of me hanging out with L. 50% chance of me staying not at home. You could make me an offer and change that 33% to 25%, 20% or even 16.67%.

I have work today, starts at 08.00 or 09.00. Goes to 16.30 or so.

Today is Wednesday 05/08/V3.3 & it is a great day. Call Your neighbor.

The world’s biggest production tire – the 63-inch Titan

Your 22’s ain’t nothing compared to this. You can’t roll though the streets on Omaha on these.

Technically from this picture your 22’s are probably more like 11’s. The height of the flat tire is probably 11/63 according. It then gets bigger when you roll it in a circle. What are you proud of, that’s made in your country?

YESTERDAY was an amazing day. I got out and enjoyed the day after the doctor & dinner. Today won’t be as great, but you can still get out and enjoy it.

Happy April

Good Morning & Happy April,

A Brand New month & brand new adventures for Vernon J.

Today is Monday April 04/01/V3.3 & it is the dark of the evening until the morn.

So far Jim has pulled an April Fool’s joke on me. Jim is a liar, but he is still a good guy. As soon as he … then I’ll be doing my thing.

I have to go to work this morning, not for the entire day. It is just 1/2 a day at the party office. If anyone needs anything, I’m here.

I’m also being selective with what posts I put on twitter today. No/limited shares from foursquare. I’m nearing the 100,000 post & want everyone of them to count. I have XLV to go, so going to make them count. You will see the 99,990 though 100,000 celebrated with their own blog post. (if I can remember).

The word of the day is ha-ha, which is sunk fence. Well I learned something new. I thought ha-ha was something you typed when you were telling a joke.

So tomorrow is also the Omaha Mayor, Omaha City Council, and Omaha School board election.  Earlier today I posted(& it has been RT about 4 times as of this posting):

We do have a choice to make & I hope that choice will be to go out and vote. You can go back and select another candidate of your choosing. I knew who I was voting for in 2 out 3 of the elections. The Vote 411 project helped me decide who I was voting for the Omaha School Board. I won’t tell you who I’m voting for today.

There is a Omaha Public School board meeting tonight at 18.00. Be there or be square.

The microwave is SO OLD, it has a dial & you have to press the start button. YES I just turned the dial & was like the microwave isn’t working. Clearly I had no clue how that worked.
