It’s Back

Monday is back for a great time.

Good Morning & Happy Monday.

I love Monday. But you already know this.

Today is Monday 12/09/V3.4, it is Courtney’s Birthday & Vernon J’s half birthday.

Today we decided it is officially a tie day.

So let’s see what needs to be done by Team Vernon J today. My shoes are out for delivery, so there are a couple things that need to be done with that. I’ve got to get the right size & pick them up. I had them shipped to the store for free.

I need AAA batteries & dish soap. Do that brings us to two stops after work.

I think it is PERFECT WEEK week. Confirming as I blog. That would mean I would have to hit the location before I go to the JCNA December Party.

The word of the day is calorifacient which is (of foods) producing heat.

It was a good Sunday. Maximum results minimum effort. Efficiency at its best.

Make it a great day.

What happened?

So on the way home from the grocery store I saw a kid shoveling snow onto a disc. Do you know why?

Good Morning & Happy Sunday.

Because he was happy that snow is here & he is going to play in it. What happened to us that we* hate snow?

Today is Sunday 12/08/V3.4 & it is a what did you do last night kinda day?

I came home watch some television/movies, & listened to the #OMavsHockey game. Give it up for the team, they won a shootout against the Colorado College Tigers.

The Swimming & Diving, and the basketball team finished as Division 1 Runner-up in their respective feats of athleticism Visit OMavs.com for more information.

The word of the day is hardihood which is boldness or daring; courage.

So after I give my Sunday Nap, I’ll be in cookie mode. I’m making Chocolate/Butterscotch(or whatever chip I got Chips Galore) & Healthies. You are welcome to stop over for one or two. I’m sure there will be enough to share after the 2 Dozen tax for the JCNA December Party.

Well that’s it for now, I’ll think of a reason later.

*We is you, cause I enjoy going out and making a snow Vernon & possibly a snow man. I won’t forget the fun.

Three & One Half Hour

Those are the number of hours I work today.

Good Morning & Happy Saturday.

I have a meeting at The Thompson Alumni Center on the campus of University of Nebraska Omaha. GO MAVS!

Today is Saturday 12/07/V3.4 & it is a day of awesomeness to be prepared for.

I must apologize, I thought I posted yesterday’s blog entry. It was still in draft form, but you can read it or already have read it before reading this. Maybe I’ll not do that this week, that could be a goal. Actually posts your blog entries when you are done preparing them.

The word of the day is jocose which is given to or characterized by joking; jesting; humorous; playful: a jocose and amusing manner.

Me and my neighbor are going into work together, we work right across the street from each other. Well Shoppes at Aksarben & 72nd St is between our buildings, nonetheless across the street.

After my meeting I don’t know what I’m going to do, I had plans to go to Saturday church. That isn’t going to happen, see above. Unlike the bus my neighbor doesn’t have MY bike rack attached to her car, so she can’t bring both of us. So church tomorrow, the alarm is set & I know what I’ve got to do. There is like 64% to 49% chance of snow in the area I’ll be in.

BUT I can do whatever I want.

Well that’s it for now, amazing how many words can come so quickly.

Apples

I like Granny Smith & Honey Crisp apples.

Good Morning & Happy Friday,

I’ve always like the G.S. apples, just tried (to the best of your memory) HC this year. They are also delicious.

Today is Friday 12/06/V3.4 & I can feel the magic floating in the air.

My shoes are in Omaha. ALL of them now. I order some shoes off the internet. They are NOT dress shoes, but classy enough casual shoes that they will appear as dress shoes. I’ll put a picture up, I’m sure.

The word of the day is abiogensis which is the now discredited theory that organisms can arise spontaneously.

So yesterday was a different Thursday, so I didn’t iron my clothes. I will do that tonight when I get home. The University of Nebraska Omaha hockey team will play tonight. I’ll have that in the radio etc.

Today was a good day at work. I for an interview for the associate trainer position. Interview is Friday at 1500, I’m also only working 3.5 hopes tomorrow. I have the 28th off & starting Monday the 16th I’ll have 7.5 hour work days. Excluding December 25th which is a Wednesday & a full day of work for several hundred (possibly) thousands.

People seem to get upset when others get laid off at Christmas time. What’s the fuss about? My rent, phone, & utility cost the same as the other 11 months of the year. Also every month except August has a holiday. Do we only lay people off in August?

Well it is time to quit treating December like it is a special month. You shouldn’t have
