What A Day

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

What a day to be a resident of Omaha, a resident of Nebraska, & a citizen of The United States of America.

Today is Sunday 10/07/V3.3 & it shall be a GREAT day!

Good luck to all the runners, walkers, & fighters of breast cancer who are taking part in the Race for the cure.

I am helping out The Salvation Army this morning at 11.30, that is why I am up now. I got to get some food in my belly & then get out west. I also have to meet with Joe & then go into work from 17.00 to 23.00. Tomorrow I have a couple projects to work on, but it isn’t as busy as the rest of the week. Work today is Overtime, yes I do my overtime before I do my regular time.

Also UNO Hockey starts this week. Monday 10/08/V3.2 at 19.00. I won’t be there at the start of the game, I sure do hate missing the start of it, but I got other stuff to do.

The word of the day is tardigrade which is the slow in pace or movement.

Has anyone seen Liberty Kids? Apparently they make history fun, I’m glad that they have some good children’s cartoons on now. We had a fun little chat about ages (thirties vs twenties age bracket), kids now a days. This doesn’t include your 25+’s.

Well I hope you have a great day!!!

Quotes from the World for Saturday 10/06/MMXII

The pleasure we derive from doing favors is partly in the feeling it gives us that we are not altogether worthless. It is a pleasant surprise to ourselves.

That’s a good one

Good Morning & Happy Saturday.

Someone asked me how I was & came up with this.

Today is Saturday 10/06/V3.3 & it is going to NOT be a hard day.

I’m going to start with a howdee & ended it with a thanks for being my friend.

You know that moment when you delete someone’s phone number, I like Amanda Van Pelt, I don’t know why I would have deleted her number. You got some explaining to do. I felt bad cause I talked to Katie & told her I talked to Katie  so I was going to talk to her. Yeah, we are moving on now.

The word of the day is fracas which is a noisy, disorderly disturbance or fight; riotous brawl; uproar.

I have work to go to from 14.30 to 23.00. I wish I could get up & going at 07.00 so I could contribute to other stuff, but working that late makes it hard.

That’s it for now.

Diamonds

Good Afternoon & Happy Friday,

We are like Diamonds in the sky.

Today is Friday 10/05/V3.3 & is this a great way to continue this weekend or what.

Rhianna – Diamonds was playing, diamonds mean no more/less then they did a half hour ago.

Which means that no one has put a ring on it. NOW this song playing is something I can get behind (twitter post at 13.02) YUP I just referenced a complete social network from the Official Blog of Vernon J & back.

The word of the day is hirtellous which is minutely hirsute.

There was science & Cartography discussed on twitter today.

I wonder if I’m doing anything tonight, no I don’t actually know at this point. What do you think I’m in charge or something?

I don’t have much, but make the most of it.

Quotes from the World for Friday 10/05/MMXII

We grew up founding our dreams on the infinite promise of American advertising. I still believe that one can learn to play the piano by mail and that mud will give you a perfect complexion.
