ICYMI – Vernon J’s quarterly report

Today is Monday October 29, the 34th year of Vernon J.

This is my 1st Quarterly Report. It is In Case You Missed It!

I will give you what happened in the last quarter of my life.

I’m doing this so in December you won’t be saying, I didn’t know that.

The quarter started July 1st that was day 12,076. I was 33 years & 22 days old.
The quarter ended September 30th that was day 12,106. I was 33 years, 3 months, & 21 days old.

I was fully employed at First Data as a Customer Service Representative, I hit my 6 month anniversary during this quarter.

I was employed part-time at University of Nebraska Omaha as a Athletics Marketing Specialist. It was the start of my 5th year in that position. I thought I was going to retire after the 4th year, but it wasn’t to be.

I started part-time at the City of Omaha (Parks Department) a Community Center Assistant.

Last Quarter I met this wonderful lady name Mindi & we started dating this quarter.

I still live at the same Apartment that I have been living at since the 3rd quarter of 2006.

I still volunteer with great organizations in Omaha. I helped out with The Salvation Army, the Omaha Sports commission at the 2012 Olympic Swim Trials. I still sit on the Joslyn Castle Neighborhood Association Board.

I went and saw some an Omaha Storm Chasers game. Stir Up the Storm

My Kinda Day

Good Morning & Happy Monday.

I’ve been up since 09.58 & I haven’t done anything productive today.

Today is Monday 10/29/V3.3 & it is my day off.

I’m suppose to do laundry (& will) today. Just gotta get the train engine fired up.

I’m planing to go help the Nebraska GOP Victory Office and/or the Lee Terry for Congress by making some calls today.

I then start my IX day, XII shift work marathon. As I was just looking at my schedule and thought I had to work today. I didn’t, I was a little afraid that I missed a shift. I didn’t have to work today.

The word of the day is eidolon which is a phantom; apparition.

So apparently the city of San Francisco didn’t behave themselves after their local sporting team. HOW many times are we going to have to go though this? DO you not have enough respect for your city to NOT do this? We didn’t riot in Omaha when the Storm Chasers won their MMXI PCL Championship. Cause we know it is stupid. IF that is what comes with having a fully-pro sports team, Omaha doesn’t need one.

So what are you looking forward to this week?

Apparently it has been announced by Multiple Sources that Carrie Underwood is coming to Omaha on Saturday 05/12/V3.3. That is 17 days before 05/29.

My belly is not at that stage where it would like me to eat some food. My brain (cause it is about 6.798 KG’s) is responsible for this feeling. It isn’t the heart, which is really doing good things right now.

While the east coast is freaking out cause of Sandy, the soldiers are the Tomb of the Unknown is just doing there job. Are you good enough to keep doing what you are suppose to do, no matter the situation?

They don’t run, they don’t hide. They have a job to do & will do it.

Quotes from the World for Monday 10/29/MMXII

A mind that questions everything, unless strong enough to bear the weight of its ignorance, risks questioning itself and being engulfed in doubt. If it cannot discover the claims to existence of the objects of its questioning—and it would be miraculous if it so soon succeeded in solving so many mysteries—it will deny them all reality, the mere formulation of the problem already implying an inclination to negative solutions. But in so doing it will become void of all positive content and, finding nothing which offers it resistance, will launch itself perforce into the emptiness of inner revery.
