1st Rule

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday,

The 1st Rule of IT is you don’t change users personal settings.

Today is Wednesday 10/24/V3.3 & it is the penultimate Wednesday of November of the 34th year of Vernon J.

What is your 1st Rule. It could be lots of things. I’ve posted that question to twitter, facebook, & foursquare. I’m waiting for lots of conversations to begin.

So the best daily paper in the Omaha metro posted a story about American Family Insurance dropping coverage on an individual.

I usually refrain from commenting on stories on their website, for obvious reasons.

So against all my previous experiences with those (editors & moderators). I made a witty, thought provoking, & insightful comment on that story.

Well my comment was deleted, but lucky I took a screencap of it. I e-mailed the author of the story, with a comment about the deletion.  He said he saw the comment. Another comment from someone else was deleted that said it was discrimination. Clearly this isn’t discrimination, this is how insurance companies work. I don’t see what the point is of having a comment section is if you are going to delete when someone does it.

With all due respect I due delete comments sometime. IF they are offensive or stupid in nature. YES I the judge of the what is offensive & stupid. So I guess what I’m saying is that is is a double standard.

The word of the day is delate which is to inform against; denounce or accuse.

My Evening Reportaz`

Good Evening & Sad Face PB & Jelly sammich.

Well it has come to an end, 4 years & 4 months later. I’m officially retired as the mascot of University of Nebraska Omaha. All good things come to an end. All bad things come to an end too.

Saturday 01/20/V3.3 at 11.00 VST.

What else?

I will do a couple movie reviews (or talk about movies I watched in the last two days).

I watched Magic Mike, Mindi suggested it & I said yes. I didn’t realize that it was the stripper movie. BUT it was a good movie. The stripping wasn’t bad, it was really more erotic dancing.

I then watched Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. It took me about 10 hrs to watch, I watched the 1st half & then went to bed. GOT up & finished this movie.

I liked them. That is the extent of my movie reviews.

I just used my blow dryer, I spilled some water on my keyboard.

Get your Seatback’s

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday.

So do Kayak’s come standard with seatbacks or not? after my initial research (which is me posting this question on twitter & The Official Blog of Vernon J), I can’t seem to get an answer.

Today is Tuesday 10/23/V3.3 and it is the penultimate Tuesday of November MMXII.

We are just two weeks away from the next great election in America.

Okay after some REAL research, I think that Kayaks do come with the seat back. I thought they should, but you never know about those additional revenue items.

I think my recycling got emptied earlier today then last week, thanks Deffenbaugh for taking care of the trash.

The word of the day is parturient which is bearing or about to bear young; travailing.

My Evening Report

Good Evening & one of the Happy days of the week.

I went to work today, it was a good day at work.

I burned my tongue on the soup I was eating

Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush are eligible for another term as President of the United States of America?

Would you give them another term?

I wore brown pants today, with a red/white striped shirt today.

I had an Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. The ones I made on Friday were better, that’s the truth.

So tomorrow I work and I think you do too.

I will probably watch Aladdin or a Disney movie tonight. Do you have recommendations?

Good Morning & Happy Monday.

I got up 28 mins before the start of my alarm, or before the end of my sleeping mode. I report, YOU decide.

Today is Monday 10/22/V3.3 & we are just happy the way it is.

So I’m eating breakfast right now, I then am going to do laundry. I have work to do and need to return something to an undisclosed location.
