My Evening Report

Well my 1st meeting today, could’ve been better. a TV station in Omaha apparently needs to get their people watches. YES we were waiting on you, & no it wasn’t cool/funny/hip to not bring your camera man. Something that takes ONLY 20 mins(we’ve both done it 3 times now), took about 45 mins cause of you. YOU were abusing people’s time.

Then we went & waved signs on the Dodge Bridge. That was fun.

Apparently I have an apology to issue to someone. To the blonde lady, who promptly gave me a 1 finger salute with pride. I don’t know what I did to you, but maybe you can give me a call & we can discuss why you are so angry.

Had dinner & got a great e-mail about a Campaign Sign. I also apparently worked with her son on a marketing project from Creighton Prep. OK, sure. IF that gets me 6 votes I’ll go for it.

Just think that tomorrow we will be 7 days away.

I <3 Monday's

Good Morning & Happiest Monday.

My name is Vernon J  I heart Monday’s. IF you have a problem with that, we have a problem. I want you to re-evaluate your life and see what YOU are doing wrong.

Monday can be the start of something great & you aren’t giving it a faire shake with your attitude. #RespectMonday.

Today is Monday 05/07/V3.2 & we are VIII/XXXV days away.

So let’s do a rundown of Vernon J’s agenda today.

  • eat breakfast after posting this
  • the door knocking time may have to be adjusted depending on when the printing is done
  • then we are going to go knock on some doors at 11.00 for about 90 mins or so.
  • then we are going to The Salvation Army Kroc Center.
  • then we come back & ‘refresh’ & then we go knock on some more doors
  • from 16.00 to 17.00 we are going to be waving signs on the Dodge pedestrian bridge. Don’t worry if you can’t make it today, we will be out from 06.30 to 08.00 every morning this week. Then 16.00 to 17.00 on Thursday, Friday, Monday, & Tuesday. Look for various spots. ie (30th & Dodge tomorrow morning, 42nd & Center tomorrow afternoon, Saddlecreek & Leavenworth Wednesday Morning, Saddle Creek & Farnam Thursday Morning, Saddle Creek & Center Thursday Afternoon.) YES this is called planning, don’t live home without it.

I’ve officially given up on getting married this year, 22 days(in reality 13 days) isn’t enough time to go on a 2nd date, fall in love, & get married. Technically I guess, cause in reality all I need is about 2 days. I know people, just not person.

The word of the day is sudorific which is causing sweat. I guess that’s okay.

1st Song of the Day.

Phase 1 of our war(where no one dies) started when you filed after me.

Phase II started when you actually put effort into your campaign.

Phase III started when you removed my yard signs from in front of your apartment, I took the higher ground. Cause I’m taller, but I AM NOT happy.

Phase IV started today, when you decided to stand on a bridge & wave to potential voters. I’ll be there at 16.00!!!
