Have you NOT discovered yourself that you still read & stand by what other people say in a newspaper?
If they don’t know you, haven’t meet you, interacted with you.
Why are you putting so much power in what they say?
I like my friends, because over the days, weeks, months, years I’ve come to know the person they are. If my friends ask me what I think of them, & then tell them. I hope they’ll believe me over some entry in a newspaper.
Believe in yourself & you’ll do just fine. When you STOP believing that’s when you’ll change the things that make you.
