The Columbus Blue Jackets are a professional men’s ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio, United States. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Founded in 2000 as an expansion team, the Blue Jackets are currently the only active team in the NHL to have not qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
