I will be a student @ 3 schools in the next two semesters. GO WILDMAVERICKS!!!
Here is the e-mail to the associate dean @ NMU univeristy.
I looked at it from all perspectives and there is no way I can complete that degree by December. So I have to take that additional accounting credit. So I have to work with NMU, UNO, and mccNEB to complete it.
I am taking the ACCT 3020 for ACT 321, which leaves me 1 credit short. For the Fall 2007 semester.
I also am going to take PSYC 1010 Intro to Psychology @ MCC for PY 100 if that is acceptable, so would you let me know.
For Winter 2008
I will take the CIS 112, or CIS 212 course and
a 3 credit upper level accounting class.
I have attached an e-mail to my advisor @ UNO, to see what classes I would be eligible to take.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP SO FAR!!!
Here is the e-mail to my adviser @ UNO
Hello:
WE talked earlier, and I am taking the ACCT 3020 Basic Federal Income Taxation. I am a guest student at this fine University of ours in Omaha. Well this gets me closer to getting that BA in Accounting, ya-hooo?! Well the class @ UNO is only 3 credits, and NMU consists of 4 credits. I have been talking to the associate Dean, and she said she would accept that, so that is that. To make up that one credit in addition to the 2 extra credits that I will need. It appears that I will be taking classes in the Spring of 2008 also. Here is where I think it gets sticky, not too bad.
Okay, once we get to January of 2008, I will have passed ACCT 3020, so I can take a couple classes it appears:
ACCT 404 Advanced Federal Income TAX or
ACCT 3050 Intermediate Managerial Accounting I am not so sure about this because of the prerequisite and what I have already taking at NMU. This would be my preferred choice, because I hate taxes.
Taking either one of those classes would complete my 1 credit short, and the 2 additional credits. Please let me know what we could work out. Now that is the easy part.
NMU has went and added a couple required courses that I would also need to complete. The classes as they list are CIS 112 or CIS 212. Now I have no clue what these classes could possible be @ UNO, but could you let me know what they could possible be.
