NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Hooters says it has figured out yet another way to “make you happy.”

The restaurant chain, known for its chicken wings and burgers served by scantily clad waitresses, is gearing up to launch its own “Hooters Energy Drink” at grocery and convenience stores nationwide this spring.

“We are very excited to launch this new product into the dynamic energy drink market. When you think of Hooters you think of high energy,” Mike McNeil, vice president of marketing for Hooters, said in a statement.

Although the company’s other tag line claims the brand is “Delightfully tacky yet unrefined,” company spokeswoman Alexis Aleshire promises that the new drink will definitely be palatable.

The drinks will come in 16-ounce cans for $1.99 each in orange and sugar-free berry flavors, the company said. Other ingredients weren’t specified.

The cans will feature Hooter girls who work at the company, Aleshire said.

Besides its restaurant operations, privately held Hooters of America launched Hooters MasterCard branded credit cards in 2005. The company also operates Hooters casino hotel in Las Vegas and Hooters magazine.

    1. Sticking in vending machine.

Then the cans would get stuck in the vending machine, because of the machines getting all fresh.
