Someone is Pissed Off at Congress again

Okay,

My Distinguished Congressman Lee Terry, Jr. NE-02 introduced House Resolution 4548 on 12/14/05. The Public Trust and Accountability Act. As of 1/18/2006 there has been no action on this bill.

Let’s review the text of this bill:

To amend title 5, United States Code, to deny Federal retirement benefits to individuals convicted of certain offenses, and for other purposes.

Apparently Congressman Lee Terry and his 23 Cosponsors thought this bill was important enough to introduce it to the 109th congress. I thought it was important enough to thank Congressman Terry, and notify my associates of this bill. I see no reason why this bill is stalled. It is a clear and concise bill that is justified. Officials who commit crimes should not receive any retirement benefits. Please pass this bill with all expedient action.

Thank You,
