Still Beautiful

Good Morning & Happy Thursday,

We are all still B-E-A-Utiful. Even when we have that little druel hanging out the corner of our mouth when we’re are sleeping.

Today is Thursday 08/08/V3.3 & it is going to be a GREAT day.

It is suppose to be 34 – degrees with NO chance of rain in the Omaha metro. Yipee, couldn’t be happier to celebrate something that I have no control over.

You know that moment when you think about (texting someone) & you wake up with an e-mail update. Yeah that happened today.

For the record I won’t miss “you two” being there. I told her that, but what I didn’t tell her was. NOT something I’m going to put on a blog that EVERYONE (including Mutual of Omaha Employees read) can see.

Oh look Walgreen’s is getting some bread.

Good Morning & Happy Monday,

This is the price of beauty.

Today is Monday 08/06/V3.3 & it shall be a GREAT day I declare.

If I don’t shave my neck & facial hair looks like crap. BUT when I do shave I get in-grown hair. This is the price of Beauty that I pay. I can’t wait till I can afford laser treatments or something.

I’m trying to make this a productive day, but I’m currently on hold with US Bank. Of course I called them yesterday & the number they gave me was incorrect. They also changed the number to the branch on Farnam St.(it is actually disconnected) & the people on 72nd & Dodge aren’t answering the phone.

I won’t let that effect my day, because I’m donating Blood today & helping out with Kid’s Crusin’ Kitchen.

What else shall I inform you of this fine morning?

If you like (I know you actually LOVE it though) Vernon 3.0 & Beyond you’ll see that Sandy asked me who? Well I’m not naming names, but there is I or II people that could be ‘you’.

My hammy

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday,

I pulled/strained/agitated my hamstring playing XBox Kinect Sports 2. I was playing football.

Today is Tuesday 06/25/V3.2 & we have over 600 elite athletes swimming in the pleminaries this morning.

I’m hanging out in participant services. I’ll be doing this all week.

Twelve hour days, but it will get done.

The word of the day is glutch which is to swallow.

The rest of the 06.00 volunteer doesn’t seem so bad now.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday.

Well this morning started at 06.30 when my alarm went off. Cause that’s the time I set it for. That’s what I did.

Today is Monday 05/01/V3.2.

Today is Sarah’s 33rd Birthday & just II weeks away from my biggest election EVER.

Speaking of elections, I’m running against my renter of the same landlord. She who won’t be named placed her signs in MY front yard. Was I upset, sure. Did I touch or alter them in any way, NOPE! I did the logicial thing & indicated that I was running for the Legislature also. I kindly returned the favor & placed a couple signs in her yard. I drive by this morning & notice there was a first casualty in the battle.

WELL!!!

The word of the day is ort which means A scrap or morsel of food left at a meal. What you should do when you go out to eat. The portions are generally big.

So after this breakfast meeting I have a thin to do.

Impressive

Good Morning & what shall be impressive today.

What shall be impressive today, I don’t know.  I woke up with a smile on my face. NOT a bad way to start my day.

Today is Monday 02/27/V3.2 & it is time for the Daytona 500.

It was rained out yesterday so it is postponed until HIGH noon today.

The word of the day is flexuous which is Full of bends or curves; sinous.

I had an amazing weekend, I won’t rehash Thursday & Friday. But Saturday was good as well, took care of some business. Saw a hockey game, we didn’t win but it was a good game. I reiterated that I don’t negotiate with terrorists, this gentlemen is a good person. He just wants what I want & HE CAN’T.

THAT WAS THE END OF THE WEEKEND!

Sunday was suppose to be dedicated to the 54th Daytona 500. That happened. I also went to Old Chicago for dinner with a friend, we caught up. I then answered a call for The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services. I was able to respond to a house fire, it was only 1 hour out of my evening. It wasn’t like I was doing anything else. Plus I got to get some reading done.

I finished reading a book, see my previous post. At that point I wasn’t done reading it, but I got it done before the clock ‘struck’ midnight. I’m pretty sure I was doing a quality control on the inside of my eyelids at that time.

Today consist of me writing a speech to deliver to the DCRP meeting tomorrow about my campaign.

I’m also hoping to get the call, that’ll make me jump up & down. I don’t control when that call is made, so I will wait.

Saturday Morning Flowers

Today is Saturday 02/04/V3.2.  My day started about 04.00 when I went to the G-Store. I then saw my former co-worker Martin, he was out bike riding & I was able to provide him with a ride to work.  I then came home napped, got up & made me some breakfast.

There was suppose to be a basketball game, but that got postponed cause of the snow. BUT the hockey game is still on, I’m okay with the postponement of the basketball game, cause that means there is more snowman time. I’ve got nothing else, cause that shall be my focus as soon as I finish this blog. I’m not sure how big it’ll be, but you’d be proud of me. I’m sure I’ll upload some pics.

The word of the day is caprice which is A sudden, unpredictable change, as of one’s mind or the weather. NO this snow in Omaha doesn’t count, I heard about it several days ago.

Don’t take a day like this for granite #Omaha, get out there & spend some time with your family & friends. We’ve been given a gift.

It a racing kinda day for me, my set is currently tuned into ESPN watching the racing coverage from Dover.  Let’s get a win for the Toyota team boys.

I woke up later than I normally do, thanks to someone calling me.  It was after 09.00, it was time to get up.  Not the call I was expecting though,  not that I was expecting a call today.  but there could’ve been a better call.  #JustSayin. I hope you get ‘the call’ from ‘that person’

After the race I’m heading out, I know that I’ll be going to the G-Store.  Might head out to VIII other places.  Don’t mess with the best.  I have the Power of Sinday!!!

The word of the day is mendacity which is a tendency to lie; untruthfulness.

Ask & Do

Do you want something? Ask for it.

Is something missing? Get it done.

Life right here is wonderful, but sometimes (23%) it is tough. How can you make those sometimes easier?

Ask your self, in different tone voice. Is there anything I can do to make it easier?

Can someone help you.
Is the subject matter keeping your mind wondering.

There are times when the simple solution, is to ask.

When there are undone things, & there is a possibility. The worse someone could say is No. Yes that word caused tears for many children & teens.

But as adults, we’ve learning to cope. If you’ve heard no, how can you turn that into a yes. Is there something you can do differnt from right NOW?

Is something wrong, that you know should be done correctly? Do something about it. (i.e. lady putting laundry tub to prop the door open for fresh air).

Be a doer & an asker.
