Good Bye January

Well this is it.

Good Morning & Happy FNP.

We say goodbye to the first month of the year. Been a good one, 17 hours & 47 minutes to go.

Today is Friday 01/31/V3.4 & my net with had been increased by $0.08. I found that on the bus this morning. #winning

So yesterday when I was emailing my roommate about dinner. One of our co-workers was there. Jonni was like ‘did that guy work at Pace, wear a nametag, & ride good bike? The memory of Vernon J is strong.

on a sidenote she told me about this coworker who made a red velvet 3 layer cake/cheesecake. That’s the kind baking that’ll get you married. I need to get that recipe.

The potatoes I made yesterday turned out delicious.
Pretty easy to make. 4ish potatoes, onion, salt & pepper, cheese, flour, & Hiland Dairy milk. Takes about 95 – 100 mins to prepare. Less to eat.

Well the University of Nebraska Omaha basketball teams had a couple rough games yesterday. Visit http://OMavs.com for details. Today the hockey team plays & Vernon J will be there.

So MAF & I was discussing going to the University of Nebraska Omaha Hockey game Friday.

Today is Wednesday 01/29/V3.4 & after being in Omaha since 2004, I paid money on my 1st MUD Bill.

She told me that the weather is suppose to get bad on Friday. Well I told her that #VernonJ ain’t got time for that. I haven’t watched weather reports or diagnosis all week. The weather is going to do what the weather is going to do. Vernon J is going to do what Vernon J is going to do. Vernon J, Jim, Bridget, Jon, & several other thousand people are going to go down to the CenturyLink Center Omaha and see the Mavs in Action.

Now I had my Douglas County Republican Party Central Committee meeting yesterday. I do have one thing to say about the actions of a certain candidate and his current supporters.

Job 1 of any candidate is to tell us why we should vote for you.
Job 2 of any candidate is to convince us that we should vote for you.
Job 3 isn’t to tear down a fellow Republican.
Job 4 is to not encourage your supports to laugh at the current office holders.
I wasn’t going to vote for you & I’m not going to vote for you still.

That wasn’t professional at best & disrespectful at worse.

Speaking of the 2014 elections. I moved to District 12 (no I’m not in Hunger games), and I see on facebook last night that Jon (another one) got visited by Merv Reipe. He is running for LD 12 & I was glad to see he is going door to door. That’s what a candidate should do. Merv I’ll be giving you a call today/tomorrow. I wanna know what I can do to get you elected. The Fightin’ Twelfth.

Just jamming to some music on the way in.

Today is Friday 01/17/V3.4 & it is the time to do some stuff.

I’ve done ironing

, made lunch, got the dishes going in the machine. I didn’t use my time yesterday to get a haircut. I had more fun at Crescent Moon instead. I was also told not to be too hard on myself. Sometimes you listen to people like the person who told me that.

I also didn’t get to iron yesterday. I normally like to iron all my clothes at once.

So this is what should be done today after work. A. Haircut B. Dinner C. Iron.

The word of the day is misology which is distrust or hatred of reason or reasoning.

Yesterday there was no entry. But I got the drawer & mirror assembled. Didn’t even take a nap.

I’ve got no BIG plans this weekend. Going to listen to University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks hockey. They are coming to us live from Ohio. Sunday church, I’ll probably also go to the library add it is in the way home.

It is suppose to be 15 degrees on Sunday. A swing of 25 degrees from what it is right now.

No, No, No

That’s not what we planned, grrr.

Good Morning & Happy Monday,

I won’t be going to the University of Nebraska Omaha Hockey game today, booooo.

Today is Friday 01/10/V3.4 & it is going to be a great day.

So I went to Dunkin’ Donuts today. Haven’t been to one since I was in Washington, D.C. in 2011. I kinda feel like I’m cheating on the other Omaha National chain. I’m sure it’ll be buried down deep when I get done with the donuts.

The word of the day is wamble which is to move unsteadily.

I think I’ll go check out the bar near my home today. Today is their judgment day. They’ll be judged on their price alone. That price is $4.75 in a point glass & if it is more/less I won’t be back.

I’m feeling 100% better. Thank YOU body & no drugs, doctors, nurses or medical professionals. Sometimes it just take time.

Tomorrow a portion of the new stuff from Nebraska Furniture Mart comes. So I have that to look forward to after work.

Sunday is church day.

I’m also thinking I’ll go to the library after work today. My book isn’t done yet but I sure hate to be without one.

The University of Nebraska Omaha Hockey Team is back.

Omaha’s Team is back & will be playing in Durham, N.H.Visit No. 19 Mavericks Back in Action at New Hampshire – Omaha Athletics for all the details.

Today is Friday 01/03/V3.4 & it is Julie’s birthday. Happy Birthday Julie.

The first FNP of 2014 is underway, sitting here enjoying my breakfast. How does one celebrate the momentous occasion? The ONLY way we know how. By going to the Best Bar in America i.e. therefore Omaha. Contrary to what was recently reported. According to that unnamed report the ‘best bar in Omaha’ has a 9.1. Well Crescent Moon Alehouse has a rating of 9.2 on the same website. You do see how that that flies in the face of their ratings?

The Men’s Basketball team also plays today, their game starts at 2300 LIVE from Hawaii. I’m pretty sure that I will not be awake for that game. I’ve got to work tomorrow. Visit Mavericks Celebrate New Year at Hawai’i – Omaha Athletics for more details. I hope someone is up for the game.

Let’s See

So I posted a little something on facebook about ‘business being open on Thanksgiving.

Good Afternoon & Happy Sunday. Today is Sunday 11/24/V3.4 & it is a NASCAR free day.

I always like to present some information that has ‘outraged’ people. I like to see if people are really outraged, or they are just liking & sharing because it is easy. Let’s see if there is any response to my post. Now I’m going to lay my cards on the table, I didn’t work on Thursday 11/22/V3.3 & I ain’t working Thursday 11/21/V3.4. I have Thursday’s off. But I do work Wednesday 12/25/V3.4 & Wednesday 01/01/V3.4, cause I work Wednesdays.

As I always tell people. When you agreed to work at your place of employment you knew what you were getting into. YES it may suck, but to provide for you family you’ve got to make money.

The word of the day is za-zen which is meditation in a prescribed, cross-legged posture.

Now I don’t have to leave the house today, so if I do leave the house it is because I want to.

Congrats to UNO Hockey on their sweep of MU. It is the 1st sweep since of that team since 2002.

Congrats to UNO Swimming & Diving who finished in 5th at the Kansas Classic

Congrats to UNO Basketball on a Win at home & a well played game at Drake.

All in time

All in time & it’ll be mine.

Today is Saturday 11/23/V3.4 & I’m going back to New Orleans.

I don’t know what all is, when we figure it out. You will be the 3rd – nth person to find out.

Let’s start this off strong. I went & saw The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The Gamemaker, Haymitch, & others had a plan to rescue Katness from the Arena.

They ended the movie with Katness finding out District 12 had been demolished. I was like you cant end it there. I then went back & read the last chapter of the book. It was just how they described it.

The word of the day is tenuity which is thinness of consistency; rarefied condition.

I’m not going to New Orleans. The only place I’ll be going is home, g-store, possible the hockey game & the bar.

The rest of the day was great as well.

Got my hair done, ate, worked, laughed & lived.

Good Morning & Happy #FNP! Today is Friday 11/07/V3.4 & it us Thor day.

It stayed off rough today. One of my neighbors had their television blaring. I had to go visit them at 0230 in the morning. Rang the doorbell no answer. O even called the property manager. I them didn’t want to get up when the alarm went off at 0443. But it did get better.

I put that behind me and back on track. Sharing Smiles & living the dream.

We are going to watch the newest Thor movie at 19.45 at Aksarben Cinema. I just picked the previous Thor.

The word of the day is novitiate whcih is the state or period of being a beginner in anything.

After the movie I plan on going home. I return to the Saturday work schedule, after one off for Corey’s Birthday. I don’t know what I’m doing at 1531 or later. Sunday we are going to church.

Yes there is a UNO Hockey game Saturday & Sunday. That’s right Sunday, SUnday, SUNDAY! Also the basketball team is playing in Layfette this weekend. Lots of sports this weekend. I know that the volleyball & soccer teams are in action. Visit We are Omaha’s Team. Show Your MavPride

Good Morning & Happy Birthday. Today is Sunday 11/03/V3.4 & it is Sara’s Birthday.

We are on the 2nd day off ot the 3 days off journey. So today we are going to have breakfast, church, a special little treat for me, I’m suppose to get my hair braided, I will also need to go to the food/money exchange place.

There is also that little race from the the 3rd biggest state. Let’s do it Matt Kenseth, who is currently leading the points by 0. It is a tie breaker thing, so he needs to finish higher than Jimmy Johnson by at least 1 point and higher than 16th to maintain the points lead over anyone who is in 3rd or wors.

The word of the day is vexations causing vexation; troublesome; annoying; a vexatious situation. Oh so like a little brother or sister, they are so vexatious.

I’d like to give a shoutout to the University of Nebraska Omaha Women’s Basketball team, and Hockey team as they won their respective competitions yesterday. The Cross Country and Swimming teams had a tough day out there. Visit Omaha Athletics for more information. GO MAVS!

I did leave the couch yesterday and went to play a couple board games, and had some delicious ribs. I don’t really know where to go from there, cause they were delicious.
