Good Morning & Happy Monday folks. Today is Monday 11/04/V3.4 & it is a great day.
Mayor Jean Stothert’s is having two community forums today. The one at 24th & Lake is about Jobs. This is her effort to reach out to North Omaha. The meeting starts at 1200. She is also having her 1st District Town Hall Meeting. It is at Benson Library 6015 Binny St. The meeting time is at 1830, I won’t be at either.

So CBS has screwed up again. The Mentalist did not start at 2100, which means my pre-scheduled program didn’t record it in its entirety. I can’t roar right now because it is only 0545 & there might be people sleeping in the area.

Good Morning & Happy Thursday Folks. It is a great day in Omaha, but did you miss me?
Today is Thursday 10/31/V3.4 & it is Halloween.
Yeah, I just got a call to win an iPad, yeah I’m going to go ahead and pass.
Well after laundry today I’m going to nap. I was going to stay in bed a little bit longer, but I didn’t. I have washed dishes, ate breakfast, watched The Morning Blend. I’m watching Person of Interest from Tuesday while I put these characters to other characters.
The word of the day is phantasmagoric which is having a fantastic or deceptive appearance.
So there have been two things (actually three) that have been bothering me.
1st North Dakota letter. This lady is clarifying her position on childhood obesity. People are upset about this, read comments on any page that carries that story.
2nd Also recently in Omaha someone wanted to build a house. They found opposition from the neighbors and the quasi-government historical society. They have said they will be building their house somewhere else in the metro. There were no objective criteria of what is considered a historic house. 25 years ago is history today, so is 50, so is 75. Today will be history tomorrow.
Today is Wednesday 08/28/V3.4 & we are going to Press On.

Whatever is going on in your life isn’t FOREVER, contrary to what you may have heard EVER. There is only one thing that is FOREVER and that is you living with you.
I’ll give you a good example, Yesterday the Omaha City Council passed a budget with NO tax increases for us. You think that would be the lead story in the locality, but it wasn’t. This issues effects all the citizens of the area your business is located in. These things matter, report them first. Stay OUT of people’s personal lives.
The word of the day is pittance which is a small amount or share.
So I don’t currently have any weekend plans and I think I’m okay with that. The usually will happen, you know laundry tomorrow. Napping tomorrow, Friday, and a low possibility on Saturday.

I don’t know what I’m not giving up on, but I can tell you that I’m not. There isn’t a reason to give up, if you thought you might of wanted it. THEN YOU SHOULD GO GET IT!

So Google is being sue again by users. Google gmail users sue google. You’ll get about 5 to 10 lawsuits. So now the question is which user and when. That’s how these agreements work.

Today is Monday 03/11/V3.3 & I don’t care.
I don’t have to work at ‘main employer’ today, I do have to go to my new contract work.
I might be permanently banned from facebook. This doesn’t effect me personally, cause personally facebook cane blow snow (off my sidewalk). Apparently they either went though & cleared up facebook. I use Vernon J Smith on facebook, my legal name is Vernon J (redacted) & apparently facebook has a problem with this.
But if they just gave me a call, they would know one of two things. I go by Vernon J, everything I use it is Vernon J (ie Vernon-J.com, my twitter username is Vernon_J_ don’t get me started on Stephen from Sweden, my foursquare username is Vernon J. So if facebook doesn’t want to play by MY rules, I won’t be using their service anymore.
Facebook also has TERRIBLE customer service. I’ve submitted my id (contrary to my personal beliefs) over 12 hours ago. I then submitted it again after I woke up. TERRIBLE!!!

I wake up with a GREAT smile on my face, and usually when I post my first entry my day is GREAT. Now it can get greater though the interactions I have with people, or I(& ONLY I) can make it worst by my interactions with people.

My day started on the internet & then going to do laundry. I put my clothes in the wash, showered, shaved, and made my bed. I then put the clothes in the dryer & went to Family Dollar. I tried a new brand/scent of fabric softener. UPC – 024200060985, yeah you will have to do some research.

I was suppose to get I hour of bonus work, but I got II hours of bonus work. I get paid by the hour so that is a good thing.

I can’t reveal this portion of my day, cause its ‘top secret’ by ‘top secret’ it means I either posted on #4sq, posted on twitter about it earlier and it will be buried in my history that isn’t as easily accessible as this. Potentially more details to come.
Today’s Adventure has been pretty well. Got up at 07.50ish due to someone scraping their car windows. That is on top of the plow that came though during sleepy time.
Today is Friday 02/22/V3.3 & it will be a day to Begin Again!!!
I’ve already been to the ATM, Grocery Store this morning. Taking care of business, like a #VernonJ.
I got a break today, my supervisor said I didn’t have to go into work today. We would’ve had to be there 5 mins ago. I’m sure nobody would’ve come in though. The only downside to this is that Michelle didn’t get me to bring her any breakfast. She’s a medium size lady, & I’m sure she’ll be fine. Also I won’t name names, but her co-workers looked better with her glasses & the hair the way it was today.
These are the wings that was eaten in the Twisted Pine Ghost Face Killah Beer & Wing Challenge. I didn’t eat this particular wings, when I took this picture I had already consumed my wings.
I ate 10 wings & drank a beer in 1 minute & 54 seconds. I came in fifth place. The winner finished in 1 minute & 8 seconds.

The word of the day is umber which is shade; shadow. When I came out of N Frills with my Food Bank for the Heartland & Baker’s reusable bag the sun was shining. That would create a umber.
Also their customer service left something to be desired, I went to the ‘check yourself out’ & the lady kept leaving. Took about an extra 3 to 5 mins of my time cause she just couldn’t stay put. NOW to be fair, she was helping other employees back another customers grocery.
So now I’m going to go & wash dishes & put my Pizza & Tater Puffs in the oven for dinner. I still have to go to work tonight. We aren’t on a level & that means I have to be there on time. Which means I have to catch the early bus, cause they are running on winter time.
It is National Margarita Day. My friend Dawn told me about this National Holiday, yet another reason why I shouldn’t have to go to work.
What do you mean you had me scheduled earlier. I clearly remember my appointment being Thursday morning. YOU know cause I have Thursday’s off & I got my last shot on Thursday.
Today is Thursday 02/07/V3.3 & it is a double kinda day.
I went to the Medical Doctor to get my shot. I went to the Eye Doctor to get my well eyes checked and new corrective lenses.
I’ve got the laundry in the dryer now, I could’ve washed the dishes. I didn’t, is that going to be a problem? That’s good cause I get off at 20.00, so I will have time before the FNP arrives.

Hold on, the alarm went off for the dryer. I have an extra XI mins, its that ole smart dryer that does think like readjust itself to ensure it is dry.

YES I’m a hashtag snob, today’s hashtag of the day is #time. Cause by time I realized it was Thursday, I didn’t have a hashtag ready, so I went with time. It is also about time that I go check my clothes again.
