Back to business

We return to business this week.

Good Morning & Oh have the stars been bright this past weekend.

We’ve got 65.50 hours this week, nothing planned Saturday Night., looking forward to an amazing week ahead.

Today is Monday the 14th Day of July in my 36th year.

So I did all three. I was super excited & left the bedroom thinking about my day. I remembered I want ‘dressed’. I had the fruits of the loom. That was fixed.

The word of the day is tumultuary which is confused; disorderly; haphazard.

So this 3rd weekend of July was amazing. Thursday worked; Friday worked, met someone new. Saturday worked, met someone new Marcy she is married to my buddy Dennis, we hung out at the pool. We picked out a ring.

Sunday was also amazing. I worked. I cut myself at work.

But like I told Melissa, it makes me rougher.

I had a bowl of Ice Cream, watched a movie, The Internship was great.

The Boys Are Back

The Omaha Stormchasers return for this year’s baseball season tonight.

Yeah, it isn’t going to be a good night for the ball game.

Today is Thursday 04/03/V3.4 & it is Kelly’s Birthday. Happy Birthday Kelly. It’s in the mail!

Today is laundry day for Vernon J & the family. It’s also wet & rainy. One of those I’m more excited about.

The word of the day is bedash which is to dash or spatter something all over.

I forgot my supplies for the office, but I still got this.

Friday – Crescent Moon Alehouse & Gretna Fish Fry I get off work at 1530, heading to the ff at about 1730 or so.

Hotter Morning

It was 10 – degrees when I woke up this morning.

Good Morning & Happy Monday.

I wore a jacket this morning, no mittens, no head covering.

Today is Monday 03/10/V3.4 & I feel again. One Republic is just singing that to me right now.

I had a nice, relaxing Sunday & Saturday.

I did the haircut thing on Sunday.

I cut it myself on the balcony. Y’all know how I feel about waiting at the salon. I DON’T.

The word of the day is geomancy which is geographic features or by figures or lines.

On Saturday I went & saw 300: Rise of an Empire. This movie was great, I don’t know what it was rated & don’t care. It ran concurrent with the time frame of 300. They mentioned that King L was marching, they hasn’t died yet. They did eventually.

This was based on the navy portion of the Greeks & Persians. The last commander was born Greek, Persian by choice. Same old war tale, family killed, taken & used as a salve. Rescued by the messenger who got himself kicked in the pit.

King L’s wife/widow is the face/voice of the city-state Sparta. They do partake in the final sea battle, but it is pretty much over at that point.

They also discuss how Zerkes come to power & the ‘god-king’ he is. Hint it is a womyn’s plot.

Speaking of ratings, we are at the point we should get rid of the MPAA. It is time for parents to tell their own kids if they should see a movie.

I watched Action 3 News from 0530 until I left home. They mentioned in type CU & UNL basketball conference playoffs. Deanne mentioned the UNL winning the championship. No mention of UNO hockey conference playoffs.

Well I will, they play Thursday, Friday at 1907, & Saturday at 1937 if necessary. UNO students get tickets for $5, those folks get them more expensive. Visit OMavs.com for more details & to purchase tickets.

Happy

I’m happy with this successful week.

Today is Friday 03/07/V3.4 & it is Katrina’s Birthday. Happy Birthday.

Will the fish fry is happening tonight. The A.Z. didn’t call me back. That’s okay, the invite was extended.

I’ve got to work a little under 8 hours today. As I’m still a ‘trainee’, I don’t know if I’m suppose to work more. The team in on had an option for 3 hours OT this week & mandatory of 5 next week. I’m one of the two excused, cause I’m special.

The word of the day is fallacy which is a deceptive, misleading, or false notion, belief, etc.

Saturday is movie date day or night. I’m going to see the movie, a specific person had been asked to join. Time is dependent on said person taking care of some business on their end. There isn’t anything I can do about that except hope it the business gets taken care of. In not much of a hoper though.

My hands are soft today.

Has anyone downloaded OV Guide? It allows you to stream movies for free. There are commercials on some movies, but not unexpected.

I’m no longer playing Forge of Empires, back to reading.

We sang, we danced, we have piggy back rides. We had a good time.

Back to reality though, got pontoons to get on the water.

We’ve working on our weekend plans. 300 Rise of an Empire opens this weekend. I’ll be going to see it Saturday morning. This is your official notice. Let me check what time(s) work for us. Aksarben Cinema & Oakview 24 have 11:30 shows, The AC show is at 11:00 AC has a 13:40 show & O24 has a 14:05 show. The 11:30 show is doable, depending on if I don’tgo to the meeting about public transit.

Friday is fish fry day. I do have plans tomorrow, it is no

Sunday will be a brand new week & a relaxing time.

Along

We are along for the ride.

BUT I want to drive.

Today is Wednesday02/26/V3.4 & it is my long day.

So yesterday was great, I got my new corrective lenses. You can see photos here, I also went and saw Robocop.  It was a fantastic movie, a new take on the classic.

It was definitively a well done job. I think it is an Oscar Contender for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, & Best Supporting Actress.

Your move Academy of crap that is totally worthless to me  I don’t actually care about.

The meeting at the hotel was good, fun times that to Spencer and TJ. No you wouldn’t have missed it if you weren’t there. What you don’t follow us on twitter? The word of the day is fusty which is old-fashioned or out-of-date. There isn’t anything wrong with being fusty, it has worked all those years. Probably about time we have a little fusty going around.

I was thinking as I was heading home last night that Saturday is MY Saturday. I don’t have to do anything that isn’t fun, exciting, or professionally related. I’m going to the UNO Hockey Game. The Colorado College Tigers come into town, now that’s my kinda fun. Look for a pre-game notes either today or tomorrow from Omaha Athletics.

What a Day today was.

It has been a good day and I haven’t  taken a nap, yet.

Today is Monday 02/17/V3.4 & it is President’s Day. Happy Holiday Kids.

I went to Home Depot & got a hook. Hook, was encouraged (kinda)to move the bike off the patio

Went and saw Winter’s Tale, it was a good movie.

I finished reading An Irish Country Village yesterday. Book 2 of the Irish Country Books.

Got up early and went to the morning church service. Today’s sermon was who are you following. Pastor Jim talked about twitter and of course following Jesus. Great message, I’m following Jesus, are you?

Well I’m just relaxing right now, I was watching some United SportsCar Champoinship. In XXXIII days my favorite racing championship will be back. NASCAR, Let’s Go Racing Boys.

Gotta do lunch, so I can live.

Peace Time

The Hour of the Tiger.

Good Morning & Happy Thursday.

My game has peace time, apparently you can’t attack during that time.

Today is Thursday 11/28/V3.4 & in the United States of America it is Thanksgiving.

I would like to give a shoutout to the people that are working this Thanksgiving and making the most of it. For Team Vernon J it is business as usual. We have eaten breakfast, we have made the bed, the laundry is in.

I’ve also had the pleasure of washing dishes today. I’ve also rewatched Eurotrip, No relation to Road Trip.

I read A Guile of Dragons over the last week. I’m also rereading Mockingjay at the same time. After seeing the 2nd movie, I want to reread the book.

I’m looking forward to making Italian Sausage Soup, I undryed the Great Northern Beans last night.
