Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

I’m coming to you LIVE from Council Bluffs, IA.

Today is Sunday 10/21/V3.3 & it is a 4 hours & a dinner day.

Paul is here in Council Bluffs & I’m volunteering on parking lot|counter-ballot detail. I’m doing an awesome job.

I then head to the Ralston Events Center for the open house.
I’m not sure what I’ll be doing there.

Then it is time to clean, cook, & hangout with Mindi. I’m looking forward to that part of my day.

The word of the day is recusant which is a person who refuses to submit, comply, etc.

I work at job Number 2 Monday thru Friday this week. Thanks to Donna for taking my Saturday shift. I work the Saturday hockey game.

What is on your agenda this week?

So yeah, yesterday I worked 0700 to 1000 for overtime. You know how awesome it is waking people up. We can call as early as 07.00 VST. So people who enjoyed their Friday Nights got to hear. Good Morning is William Clinton there?

Went home & took a nap cause that’s what we do.

Then went to work & a tough game that we didn’t win. Came home & watched Fantastic Four. Then went to bed.

I made the executive decision not to do My Evening Report, since I’m the CEO of The Official Blog of Vernon J.

Hasn’t Changed Much

Good Afternoon & Happy Tuesday,

This entry is coming to you post-lunch because I didn’t have time to do it this morning.

Today is Tuesday 10/02/V3.3 & it is see your Congressman on a main drag in your town.

I got up 92 mins before my 1st shift, that didn’t give me much time to do other stuff.

I took my self in the kitchen & washed some dishes. I don’t know how they got dirty. I called Kim cause she tweeted Call Me Maybe. I obliged & called her maybe, although no one has called me, even though I put the same request out. WHAT’S going on folks, it is the same number that was out there before she wrote that song.

The word of the day is hamartia which is tragic flaw.

Well at 08.00 I went to my 3rd job until about 13.00. I then saw Congressmen Lee Terry walking around the Benson neighborhood.

I’m sitting in the parking lot of my 2nd job, waiting for it to start in 55 hours. Also sharing my points of wisdom that I have gathered since the last post.

Did you know that The Weather Channel & others have decided that they will be naming storms this winter season. Isn’t that a stupid idea or what? I know that you can’t make an honest assumption of this policy, cause I have already told you it was stupid. NO you can either agree with me or disagree with me. Don’t worry, you won’t be banned. I hope Athena isn’t the only storm, if we get to Zeus, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? I don’t know how we lived so long in The United States of America without doing this. NO I didn’t finish reading the article, cause as I previously stated. IT IS STUPID

Good Morning & Happy Monday,

This is the price of beauty.

Today is Monday 08/06/V3.3 & it shall be a GREAT day I declare.

If I don’t shave my neck & facial hair looks like crap. BUT when I do shave I get in-grown hair. This is the price of Beauty that I pay. I can’t wait till I can afford laser treatments or something.

I’m trying to make this a productive day, but I’m currently on hold with US Bank. Of course I called them yesterday & the number they gave me was incorrect. They also changed the number to the branch on Farnam St.(it is actually disconnected) & the people on 72nd & Dodge aren’t answering the phone.

I won’t let that effect my day, because I’m donating Blood today & helping out with Kid’s Crusin’ Kitchen.

What else shall I inform you of this fine morning?

If you like (I know you actually LOVE it though) Vernon 3.0 & Beyond you’ll see that Sandy asked me who? Well I’m not naming names, but there is I or II people that could be ‘you’.

My Evening Report

I’m currently standing on the corner of 40th St. & Dodge St. Its a long light & apparently I didn’t press the button hard enough. Cause the walk sign didn’t come on.

Well it was a nice quiet day in the 681V1. Just what I needed on my only day off between work weeks. I switched shifts from Friday to Monday. I have two shifts for the Mutual of Omaha Swimvitational that day.

I’m also defending my Santa Lucia Festival Cannoli Contest Championship. I’m the two-time defending champion. Can we go for the 3 peat.

(Making a call) I still am uncomfortable with someone else answering the intended receipents cell phone. BUT that’s just something that’s me. I promise to always answer my phone, or if I’m busy let it go to voicemail & return the call.

Well I’ve made it home safe, finish this report in a bit.

So I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. BUT we are having an amazing Birthday Week, so don’t you worry.

I got a secret

Good Morning & Happy start of the weekend.

I posted that I had a secret & I wasn’t telling anyone, & no one asked what’s the secret. Well the secret is that the 2 – Time defending Santa Lucia Festival  Cannola Eating Champ is gonna be on TV.

I’m not gonna tell you when, but watch Omaha Morning Blend the Thursday before my Birthday.

Today is Thursday 04/19/V3.2 & we are coming to you live from a tanning salon. Of course I’m getting my summer look. Nah, I have a meeting. I don’t tan, its natural. I PROMISE!

Well its the 1st day of the weekend & this one is gonna be a blast. I’m going to II apperances on Saturday. Then get some additional door-to-door in.

Hopefully I can find someone to go to the StormChasers game with me. So far it is the only one I can committ to this year. There will be more, I’m sure.

P.S. I smell good today.

I got a text last night that The Salvation Army is heading to Thurman, IA to help after last nights real storm. We are meeting at 10.00.

Today is Sunday 04/15/V3.2 & it shall be a great day.

Whoa, big happenings in West Point.

As I was coming up 275 I passed though West Point, NE. There was a line at the Dollar general 20+ deep. What was going on there?

Today is Saturday 03/31/V3.2 & I’m not home. A couple hundred KM.

I’m in towne for a meeting & then going to hang wth 1 or 2 Kiichlers.

Well Hello There, YOU RUINED IT!

Good Afternoon & Happy Thursday,

Well aren’t you just looking like you want a Valentine’s Date from my review mirror? WAIT, you speeding now. Well you don’t look so good anymore.

Today is Thursday 02/09/V3.2.

I had a phone interview with First Data this morning. Then I had a real interview with Farmer’s Insurance.  The First Data is an interview for a phone job, not the dream job. BUT it was better than the Farmer’s Insurance interview.  It’s the same deal as American Income Life. I’m apparently suppose to sell 40 property & casual products to my friends & 4 Life products before they start paying me. So you can imagine that I won’t be taking that job.

Well I still have the ole laundry to do, I’ll do that after my meeting. Its suppose to be happening right now, I hope I’m at the right Starbucks. I don’t see anyone with an iPhone that fits the description of a Jessica.  That’s all I got to go on, NO she didn’t give me her phone number, #fail.

The word of the day is screed which is a long discourse or essay, especially a diatribe. YES this blog entry seems like a screed, but it’s coming to an end.

So what’s the policy for laying on your horn when someone is texting in the car next to you.  Cause I did it last night & IT WAS so funny.  I think I’ll enjoy that portion of my drive.

The Home Team Redemption

You may remember the last time I went to an away game for Omaha’s Team.

I was robbed of a shirt.

Not this time, I had a goal of getting a Three Point Tee. The 1st have I was shuned by the shirt throwers.

But part way into the 2nd half I got one of the cheerleaders to throw one my way.

I got one this time.

I got a free T-Shirt from UMKC from my road trip on Wednesday. I'm glad they finally gave me one.

The final was 77 to 74. Omaha’s Team lost a tough one.
