My Evening Report

Good Evening & Happy #FNP Eve.

Well it is 23.47 on a Thursday Night. I’m somewhere in Iowa. I am somewhere between Council Bluffs & Meniola IA.

I went on the Taco Ride tonight.

It was a Fentastic Time.

I met Theresa (who may have a boyfriend), so take that for what’s it is worth. Her Birthday is 05/29/1987 & we ALL know how special #0529 is to Vernon J

I also met Whit, I can call her Alyson. I asked. I also got her phone number & Birthday! I asked her Birthday First. Cause you know I do it right.

I got a flat front, I got a soft flat after work last night. I used my emergency air pump. Cause that’s what it is for.

I checked my air pressure before I left. I filled up at Tobey Jack’s Steakhouse. Jennifer wonders if that is the BEST steakhouse in Mineola? I’ll probably never know.

Well I had a spare tube & got that filled up. I rode like the guy I can, Scott had a flat so I caught up with Jennifer, Mark, & Scott before we got to the end of the ride. I then also had to circle back to make sure Mark was okay. He was!

We know are listening to 94.1 FM, incase you were confused about our American Band Stations.

Vernon J is now on the highway.

Spear

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

Where is my spear?

Today is Sunday 08/11/V3.4 and have you heard of (done) the Banana Sprite Challenge?

We have work today and I might smoke some turkey legs. That’d be great wouldn’t it, and by smoke I mean grill them. I don’t have a smoke, but I could put them on a nice slow roast.

You have to eat 2 banana’s and drink a Liter of Sprite, doesn’t seem that hard. I’ve eaten 10 Cannoli’s and sure I could nail this. Just faire warning, the video I’ve seen isn’t that sexy. Lots of burping from a lady, I won’t share that. BUT it is quite quite.

So we had a good time in Lincoln yesterday, nothing too special. Although we went to T.G.I. Friday’s and I ordered dessert 1st. Like I said I would do some day on a date. It wasn’t a date perse, but it was good enough to do it MY WAY!

The word of the day is kloof which is a deep glen; ravine.

Looking forward to this week, meeting Monday & Tuesday, Work on Wednesday, Taco Ride on Thursday, nothing on Friday. I also only work IV days this week!

What to Do

Good Morning & Happy FNP,

What shall I do today?

Today is Friday 08/09/V3.4 & we are just 10 months away from my Birthday.

Well I went to an unnamed restaurant for breakfast. Then I went to the bank. I didn’t get any money. Apparently they need some form of identification, for the record you don’t need you operators license to drive a car. You only need to have one authorized & valid.

I was then going to go to target & get me some supplies. So the moral of the story. When you don’t have to do anything. don’t!

I will retry it again later today, I’ve got a feeling that it will be a nap time. I’m going to do it my way though, not anyone else’s way.

The word of the day is finagle which is to trick, swindle, or cheat.

There are IV movies opening this weekend, I won’t be seeing any of them.. IF someone where to call me and ask me if I wanted to go see a movie, I could do Percy Jackson, but that someone would have to be special.

We are over 200 words, I think we have shared enough.

6 Shifts

Good Morning & Happy Monday,

I’ll have worked VI Shifts before my next day off. I’m II shifts in, just IV to go.

Today is Monday 08/05/V3.4 & it is Patricia’s & Taryn’s birthday!!

On Saturday I finished reading The Whitefire Crossing by Courtney Schafer, I’m rereading Chainfire by Terry Goodkind right now. I’m on like page 500 or something.

After I got home from work last night, I finished watching Hope Floats & took a nap. I then had a good text conversation with a couple folks.

I’m registered and participating in the Heartland Commuter Challenge. I only have logged 22 units since the 1st. 10 by Metro and 12 by bike. That puts me at 52 on the list. I want to add some more units in be the the top 20.

You should get registered as well, be awesome like us. 2013 Heartland Commuter Challenge, my 22 units put First Data in the top 14 on the leaderboard. So all you FD employees join up as well, I know more than me ride the bus and bike.

The word of the day is hyperhidrosis is abnormally excessive sweating.

3rd Weekend of July MMXIII

Good Morning & Happy Thursday,

We are officially underway for the 3rd Weekend of July MMXIII

Today is Thursday 07/18/V3.4 & I shall volunteer today.

So I got up this morning about 06.00 & with no alarm. My alarm was set for 06.40 or 07.20. I honestly don’t remember. The normal alarm was still set for 07.28. But I didn’t need it.

I did some stuff on the internet and some more stuff. I sent some text messages. No calls today, wonder who would like a call from me today.

The word of the day is poetaster which is an inferior poet; a writer of indifferent verse. 

As I was waiting for the bus, two more bike & Ride came along. There was II of them, we all had choices to make. They decided to make it another way. Thanks to my ‘not so fast’ out the attitude. I could’ve/should’ve caught the earlier bus. OH WELL!

NPF Expedition

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

It is pie making day. So the National Pie Foundation has granted me an expedition.

Today is Sunday 07/14/V3.3 & it is a day of joy.

So I got home last night from the OwL Ride last night. I was going to make a pie, but I didn’t have a crust. I didn’t want to make it from scratch, so I started making it post sleep time. It is literally in the oven right now. IF they had smell a blog, you’d smell what I’d smell. It smells good.

At 13.00 the BBQ is happening and I’ve eaten breakfast already. That means I have upwards of 2 hours of napping to squeeze in. NOW that’s something to look forward too.

Then I don’t know what I’m going to do afterwards.

no Entry Yesterday

Good Morning & Happy Saturday,

I didn’t post an entry yesterday, cause I had a good time on Thursday/Friday day change.

Today is Saturday 07/13/V3.4 and it is shiny, nice, and polished.

I was going to do my week in review, it was going to include this graphic. Untitled 2 the post was going to be centered around this. Cause that is how my week was.

Well we have work and church today. I’m off tomorrow, it is Brandon’s Baby Birthday Bash, but that’s not why I took the day off.

Me, Jennifer, Mark, and others are doing the OWL ride today. That doesn’t start until 22.00 and it would be a ‘long day’ if I went out. NOT that that didn’t happen last week, but why risk it when you can plan properly and not be subject o stupidity.

The word of the day is sisyphean which is endless and unavailing, as labor or a task.

Well make it a GREAT day, no promises but there may be more to come.

Good Evening & Happy Friday Eve,

This was the end of a moment & a beginning of a moment.

Today was 07/04/V3.4 & it was the 237th Birthday of The United States of American.

The best country, in the best state, in the best county, in the best city.

I went to the XXXVth Annual Pancake Breakfast, good things happened in 1979. YOU can see some pictures here and here.  I had a good time out there, yeah. Barb so me, so you know when you are talking to Vernon J you aren’t getting catfish’d

The word of the day is dandy which is something or someone of exceptional or first-rate quality.

Tomorrow is an advanced director from Fleet Admiral. I shall be doing laundry tomorrow, okay that is all I have on my to-do list.

I’ll probably go for a bike ride too.
