Jim’s Records

I have responded by each item below. Council member Vokal voted in support
each of the items below. Council member Vokal was elected President of the
Omaha City Council on June 10, 2003. The term is for two years.

Subject: Hello

I am contacting you regarding several property tax/ fee increases recently
passed. I received conflicting information from Jim Vokal and the NDP. I
need to know how Jim voted on the following issues.

Tax Rate Certification for the Year 2002 – Jim voted yes to adopt the
resolution
8/28/01 Ordinance 35698, 35700 – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinances
9/18/01 Ordinance 35714, 35712, 35713 – Jim votes yes to pass the ordinances
7/9/02 Ordinance 35988 – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance
7/16/02 Ordinance 35997 – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance
1/28/03 Ordinance 35997 [36151] – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance
8/26/03 Ordinance 36375
9/9/03 Ordinance 36375 [ – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance
10/21/03 Ordinance 36424 – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance
12/16/03 Ordinance 36424 [36463] – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance
4/20/04 Ordinance 36589 – Jim voted yes to pass the ordinance

Well it appears that Jim is a liar. Therefore he does not get my vote. Hello Anne Boyle, it is not so much as a vote for her, it is a vote against Jim.

Excuse or Good reason?

That is not a good excuse at all. ipod’s have pause buttons. I saw this girl at the bank(me customer she working) I saw her again at taco bell didn’t speak to her, even though I should have, I could go to her job(bad idea) or I could stake taco bell out(even worse idea). But I am going to let it take it’s natural course. I don’t know if that is an excuse or good reason.

3rd district City Council

I urge every voter to pay attention in the 3rd district. There are 2 recent mailings from Jim Vokal and the Nebraska Democratic Party that conflict with each other. Please ask Jim Vokal and the NRP for more information if you are unclear I did.

Lee Terry lost a vote

Letter to Congressman Terry
Mr. Lee Terry,
I am writing you concerning the Theresa Schiavo bill. I belive that ‘MY’ U.S. Congress has overstepped it boundaries. This is a private matter that has grown out of hand. The legal guardian of Ms. Schiavo has acted what he believes to be in the best interest of her. My tax dollars are now officially being wasted on this issue. The removing of the feeding tube is not a certain death for this lady. She has been in a coma for 15 years. It is time to honor her wishes, she is a vegetative state. I am very upset that you voted for this bill. I hope that Judge James Whittemore votes against reinserting the feeding tube. This is enough on your part to give a vote to your opponent in the 2006 election. I really enjoyed when I met you, but that joy is no longer there.

Letter to President Bush
Mr. President,

This is not the first time, and I am sure it will not be the last time you make a mistake this huge. ‘MY’ U.S. Government has no right to intervene in a private matter. I can not believe you and your croonies passed this law. I am republican, but believe me, if you were up for reelection I wouldn’t vote for you.

What I really wanted to tell the president

CBS and there damn programming

I am really pissed off. I am watching Spring Break Shark Attack and it started late. 30 god-damned minutes, thanks to that no good programming director over at CBS. After years of doing sporting events you think they would know that live programs run over. I wish they would have started it on time.
