Make the Most of It

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

Someone on facebook (let’s call her Annika) asked ‘what’s normal again’

Today is Sunday 03/10/V3.3 & it is new beginnings. I get to start work at 14.00 & am done at 22.30.

I posted on ‘Annika’s’ wall that Normal is what you decide. So what’s normal for you?

Over the last Five and one-half+ years my normal has been working two (or more jobs). I just took another position on a PT basis with an organization that I’ve supported for years. But thi$ PT job can replace the other part time job; if I so choose. Making sure I enjoy the day that I’ve been blessed with.

I’m currently okay (80%) with that normal. But I hope that normal will change soon. There is rumors going around that ‘main employer’ is on a hiring freeze. Don’t know if it is true, internal or external. I’ll have to check with multiple sources before I do anything. That anything is applying to outside companies like I’m only part-time employed.

On Tuesday 03/12/V3.3 is my 1 year anniversary of working at ‘main employer’; that doesn’t factor into my decision. The question that I have to ask myself is, What’s best for Vernon J & ‘the family’

The word of the day is haberdashery which is a retail shop dealing in men’s furnishings, as shirts, ties, gloves, socks, and hats.

Earlier (on instagram) I posted this picture.

I included “Don’t let Life, Liberty, & the pursuit of happiness go dim like this lightbulb”

As a friend or reader, I honestly want you to do that. I want you to be optimistic about EVERTHING, aslo don’t worry about a THING. Life has a way of taking care of business & that business is good.

These thoughts came to me cause. A + B = US & A + (longtime B) = US (still). I won’t go into details, I’ve honestly only told 1 person the full story. This math project is beyond my intellectual ability. All I can say is It Takes Two.

Well that’s it for now.

Vernon J wants you & ‘your family’ to have a great day!

Now the truth of the matter is that there are a lot of things people don’t understand. Take the Einstein theory. Take taxes. Take love. Do you understand them? Neither do I. But they exist. They happen.

Quotes from the World for Friday 03/08/MMXIII

Those who wander in the world avowedly and purposely in pursuit of happiness, who view every scene of present joy with an eye to what may succeed, certainly are more liable to disappointment, misfortune and unhappiness, than those who give up their fate to chance and take the goods and evils of fortune as they come, without making happiness their study, or misery their foresight.

Bad Research

Good Morning & Happy Friday,

Well the research from last night, was on the wrong data.

Today is Friday 03/08/V3.3 & it is a 06.28 kinda day.

I got to watch my ‘buddies’ Matt & Deanne on KMTV Action 3 News today. I listened to the entire 32 mins, before CBS This Morning came on. I then muted it. Maybe less than 32 mins, cause I was you know, taking a shower. BUT it wasn’t on mute like CBS This Morning & The Daily Buzz.

So today my first meeting is at 09.00,  I am en route to that now. Rolling along here, just using my unlimited data & the tools necessary for hotspot connection.

I then get to go to the work, I’ll hit the mall though & relax a bit there before work. BUT with all due respect, the mall tends to have uncomfortable chairs. Even the Panera, I’m pretty sure Starbucks (on 114th & Dodge) does too. I just don’t feel like coming back home after the meeting. Home; work & meeting are n the other side of 90th St.

What should I do?

The word of the day is scupper which is to prevent from happening or succeding; ruin; wreck. No more scuppering today. Move, Get Out the Way so we can succeed.

Baseball IS BACK IN the Omaha Metro. University of Nebraska Omaha takes on North Dakota State University. (according to their post). I don’t know if it is University of North Dakota or North Dakota State University. My connection isn’t pulling up that page right now. Maybe I’ll go back & edit this once it loads. It is the one that is in the

If you want to Road Trip to Kearney with me tomorrow. That would be great, I can guarantee a good time for 5 to 6 hours. Nothing promised during the middle of our road trip.

Well my 1st Song of the Day was Smile by Shanice. I was thinking of a friend & it is true. I do love her smile.

Well I’m going to call these 334+ words a wrap.

Hope you enjoy reading this post.

I don’t

Good MorningAfternoon & Happy Thursday

I don’t know what got into me this morning.

Today was Thursday 03/07/V3.3 & it is officially over.

I sent my first text message at 07.50 this morning. I can’t figure out why I got up before my alarm went off at 08.28. IF you would like to go ahead and figure this out for me. Your Comments are welcome below,  Spencer I’m looking at you.

So after my unruly awaking moments, I showered & tried to take care of my laundry. As today is Thursday & it is laundry Day. Due to my ‘neighbor’s behavior’ I had no chance to do it at that hour. So I did the responsible thing and took a nap.

LOL, I’m watching today’s Big Bang Theory. It is great. They are presenting science to middle school girls. Leonard is being all awesome!!!

I then got up wen to No Frills & went to work. Came home started my laundry & helped a neighbor install his Blu-ray player. He just had it on the wrong HDMI port.

The word of the day is tertiary which is of the third order, rang, stage, formation, etc.; third.

How was your day?

I’m looking forward to tomorrow. 1st meeting at 09.00 & then work at 14.30 I have to go to work. I’m going to try to get out early, cause come Saturday I have to be on the road tomorrow. Heading to The Big K.

Quotes from the World for Thursday 03/07/MMXIII

Why do our bodies wear out? Why can’t we just go on and on and on, accumulating a potentially infinite number of Frequent Flyer mileage points? These are the kinds of questions that philosophers have been asking ever since they realized that being a philosopher did not involve any heavy lifting. And yet the answer is really very simple. Our bodies are mechanical devices, they break down. Some devices, such as battery-operated toys costing $39.95, break down almost instantly upon exposure to the Earth’s atmosphere. Other devices, such as stereo systems owned by your next-door neighbor’s 13-year-old son who likes to listen to bands with names like “Nerve Damage,” at a volume capable of disintegrating limestone, will continue to function perfectly for many years, even if you hit them with an ax. But the fundamental law of physics is that sooner or later every mechanism ceases to function for one reason or another, and it is never covered under the warranty.

Sure be Cool if You Did is the SOTW

“Sure Be Cool If You Did”

I was gonna keep it real like chill like only have a drink or two
But it turned into a party when I started talking to you
Now you’re standing in the neon looking like a high I wanna be on
Baby it’s your call, no pressure at all

You don’t have to throw back your pretty pink lemonade shooter
And lean a little closer
You don’t have to keep on smiling that smile that’s driving me wild
And when the night is almost over
Meet me in the middle of a moonlit Chevy bench seat
And do a little bit of country song, hanging on
You don’t have to keep me falling like this
But it’d sure be cool if you did

You can’t shoot me down cause you’ve already knocked me dead
Got me falling apart with my heart talking out of my head
Let your mind take a little back road just as far as you wanna go
Baby, I’ll do, whatever you wanna do, wanna do

You don’t have to throw back your pretty pink lemonade shooter
And lean a little closer
You don’t have to keep on smiling that smile that’s driving me wild
And when the night is almost over
Meet me in the middle of a moonlit Chevy bench seat
And do a little bit of country song, hanging on
You don’t have to keep me falling like this
But it’d sure be cool if you did

Have a night that you’ll never forget
And now you’re standing in the neon looking like a high I wanna be on

You don’t have to throw back your pretty pink lemonade shooter
And lean a little closer
You don’t have to keep on smiling that smile that’s driving me wild
And when the night is almost over
Meet me in the middle of a moonlit Chevy bench seat
And do a little bit of country song, hanging on
You don’t have to keep me falling like this
But it’d sure be cool if you did
Yeah, it’d sure be cool if you did

Quotes from the World for Wednesday 03/06/MMXIII

If all responsibility is imposed on you, then you may want to exploit the moment and want to be overwhelmed by the responsibility; yet if you try, you will notice that nothing was imposed on you, but that you are yourself this responsibility.
