Quotes from the World for Sunday 02/03/MMXIII

It would be a thousand pities if women wrote like men, or lived like men, or looked like men, for if two sexes are quite inadequate, considering the vastness and variety of the world, how should we manage with one only? Ought not education to bring out and fortify the differences rather than the similarities? For we have too much likeness as it is, and if an explorer should come back and bring word of other sexes looking through the branches of other trees at other skies, nothing would be of greater service to humanity; and we should have the immense pleasure into the bargain of watching Professor X rush for his measuring-rods to prove himself “superior.”

Can’t See it

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

Yeah, it is important. I can’t see the cold like the rain. BUT I know it’s there.

Today is Sunday 02/03/V3.3 & we are 24 & 44 days away from the Daytona 500 & Spring.

I know that it is cold outside, but I can’t see it. It was -6 degrees(when I posted that) it felt like -2. I went to the G-Store & it didn’t feel that cold. It is currently -2 & it feels like 1. So it has gotten warmer, I should’ve waited to go to the store.

I get to go to work today, yeah!!! We are having a potluck at work & I’m making Spinach Dip. See some photos here, tune into here & my twitter stream for results.

The word of the day is counterfactual which is a conditional statement the first clause of which expresses something contrary to fact.

I think that is it, today is just a good day!!!!
