My Report

Good Evening & Happy Monday,

Bringing you the 1st blog entry of the week.

So yesterday we went to church, YES I’m going to church now. Mindi became a member of Devine Shepherd Lutheran Church today. We are in a relationship and part of making this a successful relationship is me going to church. I am okay with this. We went last week and we went this week. The pastor(s) deliver a great message. I think we are going to be okay.

The word of the day is terpsichorean which is pertaining to dancing. NOT a bad word of the day.

I also had one goal today, I wanted to stay positive throughout the  510 mins that I spent at work today. I accomplished that goal, thanks to promise that I made.

So I went to Hy-Vee & I didn’t get any #IceCream, this is very side to hear.

I will fix this tomorrow, tomorrow I will be making a GREAT burger to eat. Some Ground Turkey with some Ground Pork, or sausage inside it. Some fancy cheese, tater tots, Lettuce & tomato.

What else do you want to talk about today?

Quotes from the World for Sunday 11/18/MMXII

We simply must have faith in each other, faith in our ability to govern ourselves, and faith in the future of this Nation. Restoring that faith and that confidence to America is now the most important task we face.

Jimmy Carter
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.) (b. 1924), U.S. president. Address to the Nation, July 15, 1979, Public Papers of the Presidents: Jimmy Carter, p. 1235, Vol. 1979, Book 2; Washington, DC: Government Printing Office (1980).

“Crisis of Confidence” Speech, frequently mislabeled and maligned by political enemies and the press as a “malaise” speech.

Quotes from the World for Saturday 11/17/MMXII

After us they’ll fly in hot air balloons, coat styles will change, perhaps they’ll discover a sixth sense and cultivate it, but life will remain the same, a hard life full of secrets, but happy. And a thousand years from now man will still be sighing, “Oh! Life is so hard!” and will still, like now, be afraid of death and not want to die.

Anton Pavlovich Chekhov
Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860–1904), Russian author, playwright. Tuzenbakh in Three Sisters, act 2.

Leaving IT!

Good Morning & Happy Saturday,

We are leaving it, right where we found it. BUT BETTER!

Today is Saturday 11/17/V3.3 & you know what I’m not doing today.

Well to be honest alot of things. The things we don’t do doesn’t matter. The things we do are what matter.

The word of the day is dog-ear which is to fold down the corner of a page in a book. I can’t stand it when books are dog-eared, we have bookmarks for a reason.

Stay tuned to The Official Blog of Vernon J for more exciting news.

Make it a great day!!!!

Living the Dream & Spelling Words Wrong

Good Morning & Happy Friday,

So I was talking to a ‘friend’ & I spelled a word wrong. I was about to delete it & then I was like, nah. I can use this. I did.

Today is Friday 11/16/V3.3 & I did it for the girl.

So we have just under III hours before I have to be to work.

So did anything else happen int he news, I’ve been so disappointed by this. There isn’t much more to say. The company has experienced III bankruptcies in the last XX years. They have a product to sell & will be just fine, it is just time to say NO to unions. With $12 to $15 bucks 3% to 5% retirement matching I’d make bread for a living.

Looking ahead to the weekend (we are 35 hrs & 42 mins in). As of yesterday about 14.40 or so, I found out that my time from 06.00 to 10.00 is now open and free to enjoy it. WE (that includes real countable, named persons now) have a XXX Birthday party to go from 13.00 to 17.00. I do like celebrating friends XXX Birthday parties. IT is such an amazing age. Life expectancy in the Early 20th Century Life Expectancy was just XXXI. How far we’ve come. XXXIII & still kicking, okay I haven’t kicked anyone in weeks.

The word of the day is bird-dog which is to follow, watch carefully, or investigate.

Would this be an awesome tattoo or what?
With all this crazyness in the world, I think I deserve a little art to put on my back. I would get a tattoo & it would have to be something like this.

I would never get a name*, actor, logo, or character tattoo’d on me.

Well that’s it for now, just keep it up & we’ll be fine.

Vernon J out.

Quotes from the World for Friday 11/16/MMXII

True science investigates and brings to human perception such truths and such knowledge as the people of a given time and society consider most important. Art transmits these truths from the region of perception to the region of emotion.

Hostess’s problem is OUR problem.

USA, WE HAVE A PROBLEM! According to sources @Hostess_snacks is going out of business. Goodbye Twinkies and Wonder Bread: Hostess to go out of business | 7online.com It’s time to stand together for our friends. I’ve never disliked a Union or Strikes more than NOW!

I don’t know what we can do. I don’t have the money to buy and continue the operation. I do have the strength to tell the BCTGM & ALL other associated UNIONS to take a hike.

It is time to Band Together to save a GREAT tradition for the United States of America.

Oh XXIV hours in the life

Good Morning & Happy Thursday,

We are already X hours & XL mins in.

Today is Thursday 11/15/V3.3 & Midtown Crossing’s Miracle on Farnam.

Midtown Crossing presents Miracle on Farnam, a season-long celebration of creativity, good cheer and authentic holiday pleasures. Stroll in the glow of sparkling lights, sip hot chocolate, and enjoy Midtown Crossing’s newest holiday tradition – a parade of dazzling window displays.

They put the tree up this morning. It’ll be nice to walk though there before the snow falls. Which apparently isn’t going to happen this weekend. I don’t know if I’m sad or ambivalent about this. It is November, I’m pretty sure it should be snowing right now.

Well I’m doing laundry this morning, like RIGHT now! I have dishes to wash & time to volunteer.

The word of the day is dovetail which is to join or fit together compactly or harmoniously.

So that’s the only thing I HAVE to do today.

The things I will probably do are alot more.

What is on your agenda today?
