My Evening Report

Good Evening & Happy Sunday,

How was your day?

I was informed by a kid that I would break his his skateboard. He didn’t deny that I was fat, well he can’t see over the counter. I’m not worried, cause I still look good.

I hope you have a Good Monday!!!

The $50 lesson

Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard, my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog.

During our friendly conversation, I asked their little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, “If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?”

She replied… “I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.” Her parents beamed with pride! “Wow…what a worthy goal!” I said.

“But you don’t have to wait until you’re President to do that!” I told her. “What do you mean?” she replied.

So I told her, “You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I’ll pay you $50.

Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out and give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.

” She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked,

“Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?” I said,

“Welcome to the Republican Party.”

Her parents aren’t speaking to me anymore.

This has been making the rounds on the internet. I just thought I would share with the world.

On Thursday, I did. On No, I was.

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

So my buddy(Let’s call him Mike) texted me the other day & shared “are you coming over” I responded “For what & no”

Today is Sunday 09/02/V3.2 & it is Heather’s Birthday. Heather is 31 years old today. Wish her happy Birthday!!

So then Mike phone’s me & I inquire to why he texted me that information. He was like I asked if you were coming, then he was like I was going to text you. I’m glad we’ve got that all taken care, we also took care of other things as well.

No I can’t tell you ALL of those things. BUT we discussed, life social parties, UNO Hockey playing Notre Dame.

Okay, so here is the ‘things’ on my to-do list, go to the store, watch NASCAR, go to a party.

The word of the day is vigorish which is interest paid to a moneylender.

Have a GREAT day!

Quotes from the World for Sunday 09/02/MMXII

Just as language has no longer anything in common with the thing it names, so the movements of most of the people who live in cities have lost their connexion with the earth; they hang, as it were, in the air, hover in all directions, and find no place where they can settle.
