Gravel Ends Here

So I’m heading North on Turkey Creek Rd & I see a sign that reads ‘Gravel Ends Here’.  I think ‘no big deal’.

Well No Gravel Ends Here isn’t like last call, it means that there is a dirt road ahead.  Well it rained several MM’s in Western Nebraska.  If you know physics, dirt & water don’t mix.

So I went to Elm Creek, NE & the gravel road ended

You see this tracks, that’s not 3 cars.  That the SNAP mobile with its fancy technology not letting me drive up that hill.  Good time, right?

Not that I do

I don’t text & drive. You should do the same.

I saw the wreck this morning on I-80.

If I needed a reason to stop, that’d be it. I don’t know if the driver was doing it.

Quotes from the World for Wednesday 05/18/V3.1

If you read only the best, you will have no need of reading the other books, because the latter are nothing but a rehash of the best and the oldest. To read Shakespeare, Plato, Dante, Milton, Spenser, Chaucer, and their compeers in prose, is to read in condensed form what all others have diluted.
