Blood donors can show their American spirit by giving area patients another chance at life through a blood donation at our All American Blood Drives on Monday May 16th and Tuesday May 17th. Â

Grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and apple pie will be served as refreshments. We’ll be giving away American Red Cross baseball caps and all attendees can sign up to win Omaha Royals Baseball tickets.

We’ll be open special times to make it easy to donate! On Monday, May 16 we’ll be open at our Dewey Donation Center (3838 Dewey Avenue – just 2 blocks south of Dodge St.) from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, May 17th we’ll be open at our West Omaha Location (132nd & Dodge) from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This time of year it becomes more difficult to maintain a stable, secure blood supply as donors become busy with the end of the school year, vacations, and the Memorial Day holiday. To help start the summer off with a strong blood supply we’ll also be open Sundays at our Dewey and West Omaha locations from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on May 15, 22, and 29th.

Showing up at the airport next were Ron and Kelly who also found themselves waiting for Air Jamaica to open up. With plenty of time to kill, Kelly decided now would be a great time to plan out her future with Ron. She explained that she was a quality woman, and if Ron doesn’t see that, then he’s going to miss out. Yes, imagine all the quality nagging and complaining and neediness he’ll never get to experience again. For shame, Ron. And I thought being a POW made you appreciate the finer things!
