Today is Monday 01/20/V3.4 & some Americans & other will celebrate by having a day of service.
I will not be one of those people, my service will be to my clients at First Data in exchange for the dollar. It isn’t that I don’t like you, but a Vernon J’s gotta do what a Vernon J’s gotta do.
That’s the second time I used that phrase this morning.

So yesterday, I had an interesting experience at work.

So she comes up & tells me that she know what she wants for her Birthday.
I’m listening, cause I have II ears & I mouth & that’s how it works.
I throw it on the calendar & then she tells me what she wants.
She wants a fondue pot, & you know that face I make.The one that roughly translates to ARE YOU crazy.
NOW prices for fondue pots range from $27.99 to $169.99 on certain websites.
In my e-mail I put that ‘Stephanie needs to call her boyfriend to get her a fondue set’.
NOW I can see myself spending up to & NOT excluding $40.02 on gifts for a certain kind of person. You know my Girlfriend, A friend that I like & should’ve/could’ve been my girlfriend (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE).
BUT for a co-worker that has a boyfriend. This is a family blog so I can’t say that.
Today is Sunday 03/31/V3.3 & it is my 1st Easter as a Lutheran.
Well it is my first Easter as a religious active person in quite a few years. I also don’t have to work ANYWHERE today. This will only last though the month of may, I’m expected to be to work on Sunday 06/02/V3.3 that is a week before my Birthday!!

There is also something else that was really good today that I wanted to report.
Well one of the ladies who does the Zumba class at Benson Community Center brought cookies in for a treat today. I appreciate that.

I’ve now remembered what I wanted to talk about. I’m watching 180 Days: A Year Inside an American High School. So I just lost it again, I need to focus.

Stir Cove has announced all or a portion of their concert schedule. Well Trace Adkins is coming on Friday 06/07/V3.3 & it is going to probably be a GREAT show. Now there could be one dilemma for Vernon J.
The 4th Annual Cannoli Eating Competition & the 89th Annual Santa Lucia Festival. I just checked their facebook page and yes that event is the same weekend. The past III Cannoli Eating Contest have been on Friday. I’ve won all of them, I figure I can do it again this year.
oh, you must be wondering what the jist of this portion of the story is?
Well I think you should buy me tickets. The tickets are $40 + Fees, I’m sure if you go the box office, you can save on those unscrupulous fees. The tickets go on sale Monday 04/01/V3.3. IF you buy me a ticket, I promise to show up. You don’t have to get you a ticket, I’ll be fine going alone.
Oh where have I been, no entry on Saturday Evening, no entry on Sunday Morning. I must be spending time with someone I like.

So Saturday (the 10th) we went to the Iowa Game. I think they lost, we left early to go to The Best Bar in America. Crescent Moon | Omaha’s Original Alehouse Mardi Gras is only XCII days away. As my friend Jim put it, I’ll have someone to slap my backside. Dustin you won’t have the pleasure of doing it this year.
We then went to Maureen’s XXX Birthday Party, you know I’m always down for that. Speaking of Maureen 3.0 & Mindi 3.0, have you RSVP to her Birthday Party. It is hosted by Vernon 3.0 & Beyond & Lynette Lierman.
Went to work today, it was work. Nothing fancy to report there.

Tuesday – All About Omaha is having January Happy Hour at Max & Joe’s Belgian Beer Tavern which is a member of Beer Corner USA. Where the BEST BAR in America is located.
Wednesday – I’m going to the Library to get my books, I need to go online & reserve em today. Omaha’s Team is in action at 17:30 & 19:30. Basketball at Sapp Fieldhouse, all the cool kids will be there.
Thursday – I’ll do some laundry, this is actually one of my nyr to do laundry on Thursday. I will probably also go to the library.
Friday – The FNP is here & it a MAJOR sponsor this week. Become a fan of Vernon 3.0 & Beyond for the BIG annoucment.
Saturday – Celebrate Nebraska 2011 is happening. The Governor’s Ball is that night. YEAH!!!!
As most of you know, I wanna get married. In particular Married on a May 29th. There’s already a facebook event, have you RSVP’d. I know you haven’t because I know everyone you has. They general don’t ready this blog.
BUT as I was singing Saturday 12/04/V3.1 one of my fellow bartenders asked me why my name is Vernon J. I explained that I was going to get married someday & that I was going to take my wife’s name.
I also explained that I wasn’t suppose to mention the information in the 1st paragraph. Too bad, I already did.
