Good Day

A good day was had by Vernon J.

It ain’t over yet though.

I’m headed to the UNO Volleyball game that I told y’all about earlier.

I got off work a bit before half after two.

Me & the roommate went to the Omaha Steaks store. We also went to Bag ‘N Save. I got myself a couple of these

They(well one) was delicious. 5 mins on medium each side on the stove top. Oven preheated to 350. 15 on one side 10 on another. Juicy & perfectly tender.

I got all the dishes washed :-).

Tomorrow I work at 0445, stop in for a dark roast with a coffee cake muffin. We’ll get you running before the snow comes.

Church tomorrow night.

So an Omaha Police Officer decided that he or she was too good to wait for the light to change. Turned on their light bar to just go though the light. A real shame & disrespectful to me & the other lawbiding citizens.

Good Afternoon Omaha. At what point is it evening?

A good day at work today. I worked getting counter all day.

Today is the 12th day of October in my 36th year.

I got up this morning & did dishes before work. When I’m able (choose to) do something like that before work it feels good. I like being productive.

I was planning to make some chili, as I’m leaving I’m like. I’ll do pulled chicken instead of turkey. Tina made some are instead. That’s fine by me.

I chilled on the couch & took a couple of naps.

I watched the NASCAR race last night after church. I got mentioned on Twitter by the official account.

Well I’m excited for this week.

Work 10 tomorrow & Tuesday.

Tuesday is also the October meeting for the Omaha Young Republicans. We week be making calls at the Nebraska GOP Victory office.

Wednesday I’m free after I volunteer at Food Bank for the Heartland. I’ll do my six hour shift.

Thursday & Friday I work both jobs. 1800 on Thursday & 1600 on Friday.

I had a nice weekend. I bought my first Ultra Mega Pack of baby wipes fir the first time. Brad & Sharon are having baby number two. They had a little party Saturday night.

Good times & laughs. I met an England citizen, I also met an English-Brazilian 1st Generation American. His dad is from Brazil.

Another Month

Goodbye September Hello October.

A joy filled start to my day, it’s on the button off my pants leg.

Today is the 1st Day of October in my 36th year.

Another relaxing night in Omaha.

UNO Hockey starts this month. Monday is the first game. Team Vernon J week be there. Getting excited for the return to the Ice.

The Word of the day is demesne which is possession of land as one’s own.

The Equalizer was a great movie. Although pretty far fetched. No man can take down the eastern Russia Mafia, the enforcers team, the head of the snake & his security team. With that being said.

All that could’ve been avoided for a mere 9,800 in ca$h. But no someone had to get all uppity.

A good romantic comedy If I do say so myself*. It had everything, a love story, intrigue, corrupt cops & other people. Barbed Wire, nail guns, spy cameras, helicopters, even some honey.

After working 8.58 hours, went to the g-store, came home cooked & made some bacon, ate dinner, relaxed in the couch. Talked to Jeanie, who is out of state this week. She sent me a postcard.

Tonight is laundry night & everything what I did yesterday. I’ll work more hours, smile more, have Ice Cream.

So long

Last wakeup of September 2014

Started this day of great.

Today is Tuesday 09/30/V3.5 & we going to celebrate a great September. 1st Birthdays, 1st Laughs, quite a few firsts for Team VJ.

Well it was suppose to be raining right now, it isn’t. I’m okay with that. I brought my umbrella though.

Yesterday (post-work) was good. Cleaned dishes, kitchen, & living room.

The word of the day is helpmate, which is a companion and helper.

So in Friday about 1316, the supervisor sent out an email. MANDATORY 8 hours overtime! Me, Erin, & twitter had a conversation about the number of hours that I was working. I had started that I was only scheduled 60 this week. Sometimes God had a different plan then you.

So this is where we are.

Okay, so ten hours became 11 hours 23 mins. #IHeartMonday 36 hours 7 mins to go.

The UNO Volleyball team had two home matches this week. Today & Friday. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going to the Friday match. The match starts at 1900. Let me know if you want to go cheer on the Mighty Mighty Mavericks.

We are less than 2 days away from Sunday.

Only 3 5 people knew what I’m doing Sunday. Before I posted this.

My plans changed from previous sliced intentions. I won’t be doing the spaghetti feed. World’s Largest Spaghetti Feed, EVER!

A great morning to be sharing my story with you.

I had a G.R.E.A.T. breakfast.

I’m working a little under 8 hours at First Data today. I’m then going home, a nice Easy night at home. Probably going to watch some NASCAR practice & qualifying. Just some Sprint Cup Qualifying, trucks race tomorrow during work.

I’ve had a good week. It was an easy week, just III shifts at Dunkin’ Donuts. V at First Data.

I’m happy it isn’t raining today, I guess it’s not foggy either. But you can’t see fog when it is dark.

On Saturday is Oktoberfest German-American Society style. Might become a member this year.

On Sunday we have church & a special outing.

I worked Thursday.
I worked Friday & went to Oktoberfest at Gerda’s.
I worked once Saturday & went out on the towne.

Yup. Even on the 12,874th day people make me go what?

Respect is a two way street. I don’t see how typos & saying ‘there’s a no excuse rule’ in my works is disrespecting our not showing respect. I didn’t ask & won’t. Just know that I’m confused.

Surprises

So did you get a surprise yesterday ?

Good Morning & Boomtastic.

I got one yesterday. Actually had the day off. I was suppose to with a of Thursday. But they scheduled an extra person & I let them know. They forgot to tell me they curved me off the schedule.
Today is Thursday the 5th day of September in my 36th year.

We are only 1 hour & 22 mins in & it had been a Boomtastic day.

A good night’s sleep, good & fun conversation, a good breakfast.

So yesterday on Twitter I asked, how many servings is corn on the cob?

In particular that puce right there.

After dinner I went to the store & bought a white shirt. I can’t remember the lady time I bought a white button down shirt. I’m usually doing the patterns, but I need white for Friday.

Also I have a 16 inch neck & 38 length arms. I’m sure they are both the same length. I’m totally normal :-).

I also got two new ties —->

This is the double pink & gray one. You’ll see the new one next week. Well totally world population – 4 people who have seen the toe in my hand.

everything was totally normal at the dentist yesterday.

I’m heading into work now, then later to work, then home.
