BUT today was a good day. Vernon J went outside at about 18.18 & then went to the G-Store. That may be the Grocery Store to you, but it is the G-Store to Vernon J & YOU NOW!
Vernon J had some nacho’s inspired by a conversation April & Brittany of Omaha. So he had some nachos with pork. Cut up a little thin pork chop and put it in the nachos.
He also made some Cheese Broccoli Soup.
No Vernon J didn’t wash my dishes, that’s a project to get done before work tomorrow.
Vernon J is currently watching Coming to America. Apparently Cassandra has never seen it. That needs to change.

Today is Sunday 10/14/V3.3 & it is what you are going to make of it.
We know what our past is, we know what are present is (right this moment you read this), we don’t know what are future will be. BUT it is bright, the darkness is behind us. There might be a cloud or two, but the sun or reflection of the sun on the moon is only moments away.

Now we move on to what does Vernon J do today.
Today is a day off work, no work at Job 1, 2, or 3. I could continue to relax like I’ve been doing all day. I might stop by the Nebraska GOP Victory office and make some calls. IF I do that it’ll be between 14.00 & 16.00.
There are no sports on TeeVee worth watching today. NASCAR was on last night & I couldn’t even watch it if I wanted too. I don’t have ESPN.
Mike is laying some hard wood floor in his basement, improving the foundation. I could help him with that. I’m seeing what time he is working on that. He is working on that sometime soon, so I don’t know the details of that.
Those are the two things that I could do.
Here is a look at Vernon J’s schedule for the next 180 hours & 16 mins. I already know it is incorrect cause there is a project that I’ll be doing on Wednesday around lunchtime.
My next day off is Sunday 10/21/V3.3 or it could be Thursday 10/25/V3.3 Saturday 11/03/V3.3 if they enact/approve my new schedule for Thursday/Saturday off at First Data. YES I had to pull up my calendar & check. I realized that I may not have to work at the Benson Center on Tuesday. That is perfect for me cause I have to work Monday night.
Getting up at 06.28 (yes I get up on the eights) isn’t too bad, unless you work till 23.00 the night before. Gotta do what I gotta do.
So I’m looking forward to the next moments that we can share together.
I’m looking forward to Hockey on Friday & Saturday. I’ll be at both of those games. YES the battle of Nebraska goes to the pool this week. Its UNL vs its Big Sister UNO in the pool. They come to our house first & then we go to there house on Saturday. LET’S GO MAVS!! Did you hear about the new (possible) sports arena that we are going to ask the University of Nebraska Regents (that’s UN or UofN, it isn’t Nebraska University) to approve in a really nice voice. I would suggest you go to https://www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov & find out who your regent is. Then contact them and inform them of how you feel about this project.
John (Chancellor of UNO) said the University would not seek direct appropriations from the Nebraska Legislature or occupational taxes from City of Omaha.
WE need this to be a Top-Tier hockey program
WE need this to have the Summit League Conference Championships in Volleyball or Basketball
I also support this.

Well we are nearing that DC word count that we always fear in blogging circles, there is no such fear. So I’m going to cut this one off at this point.
I am happy to report that I only have 11 hours of work left & about at least 33 hours of partying to get on.
First I have to say thank YOU to my bestest (work) friend of the week Yolanda for taking my Saturday for me. IF you’ve ever had to trade a shift, you can imagine for someone to give up a Saturday afternoon, evening, & night that they respect you.
I also have to give it up for the partying, although I’ll be watching II or more hours of football on Saturday, it is better than working.

Went to a meeting, came home watched a movie. Relaxed for a bit. Went to work.
YES it is really Thursday. My friend (let’s call her Sandy) texted me & said “Its Thursday” I responded WAIT, stop the computers. Was someone saying it wasn’t Thursday. Totally makes me smile.

So I got up a little earlier than anticipated, I wasn’t sleeping so I got up. Watched Action 3 News, This Morning & who was on the news today? As per usual when I asks who was on the news, it was me.
The video was from MMVII or could’ve been from MMX. I wanna say it was MMX, because the video was from Westwood Plaza 7 I don’t remember it being out there in MMVIII. At least to the best of my knowledge. The story was focused on the new plan for the Keystone XL pipeline & that Congressman Lee Terry supports it. I always like seeing myself on the news.
The word of the day is piceous which is inflammable; combustible.
I need to check the weather the rain is suppose to start at 21.00 & continues though the rest of today. 50 to 60% chance of rain, so that means I won’t be riding my bike.
Make <- where was I going with this? I remember where I was going with this, I think.
Looking ahead to the weekend. When I went to bed I was under the impression it would be a 13 hour day. They offered overtime starting for 10.00 to 13.00, I signed up. Can’t go wrong with 4.5 additional hours of pay. When I awoke I found out that my day will actually be starting at 08.00. It is Super Saturday
I think that takes care of any of the issues for right now.
The sunrise was at 06.56 & the sunset is for 19.48. That.s 12 hours & 54 minutes of Sunshine. I hope you make the most of it.
So at work today, where I only worked 4 hours. Just the Way You Are came on. I couldn’t help but think of you. I had to laugh & smile to myself. You’re Amazing the way you are.
I start early tomorrow, volunteering on the Kid’s Crusin’ Kafe again.
Yes this is later than my normal posting time, but I’ve had a “good” day so far.
Today is Thursday 06/07/V3.2 & we are just a day & a wake-up from MY Birthday!
My day started at (oh 00.30), but it officially started at 04.30 as that is the time my alarm was set for. I had to be down at the CenturyLink Center for the 2012 Mutual of Omaha Swimvitational. I am volunteering for that event today, tomorrow, & Sunday. I know that I start at 04.30 on Friday. I don’t know what time I start on Sunday, but maybe the same time.
So that means I will have a *subdued* celebration on Saturday NIGHT!! BUT that don’t mean it’ll be any less fun, it means I won’t have tie too many on.
The word of the day is “natch” which is of course; naturally.

I then went and visited Amy (whose Birthday is Sunday 06/10/V3.3) & my former co-workers at Food Bank for the Heartland. I also ran into two of my former co-workers from The Salvation Army who were at Food Bank for the Heartland.
I then went home & took a nap.
I’m not at work & excited for (well for YOU to bring me dinner).
I figure I’ll start this month strong by making my bed.
I don’t wanna seem like its going to happen every day, I’m pretty sure I’ll ‘forget’ to make it tomorrow. I’m also going to make a call that I want to. I haven’t been putting it off.

It’s like a brand new day, except its the start of 31 days. YEAH!!
Yesterday had its ups & downs. The downs weren’t anything I could control, so I won’t worry about things like that.
Just know that a phone call works & can mitigate any concerns.

Today is Wednesday 01/04/V3.2.
Wednesday is getting to be my favorite day, because its like a brand new week. I get to see you, so it’s kinda like Monday, which is my 2nd favorite day of the week. IT’S MY BLOG, I just had to say that.
I will be in the officer & I look really good when I wear a suit. (I’ll Be Right Back) IF I do decide to wear a suit, I won’t have to iron. I ironed a shirt yesterday & you dry clean suits. So that’s a win-win for me.
The word of the day is fetial which is concerned with declarations of war and treaties of peace. I hope that Commander in-Chief’s will focus on the last portion of fetial.
It’s been a good morning so far, I wake up to a text(twitter posting) from Maggie saying she would send me a post card. I still love her. (in a NON-Romantic way). I really like post cards & other stuff.
What else can this entry be about?
Apparently it is National Spaghetti Day, I don’t know if I’ll be having spaghetti for dinner. But I will be having a Roast Turkey & Colby Sammich on wheat for lunch.
