NOT on My Watch

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday,

My friend’s Dustin Ice Cream Scoop was stolen at work. We can’t let this kinda behavior continue.

Today is Wednesday 08/14/V3.4 & we are on Date II.

We can NOT let this injustice brought upon Dustin to spread.

So I took the famous  First they came …

First they came for the beef steaks,
and I didn’t speak out because I don’t eat beef.

Then they came for the wine,
and I didn’t speak out because I don’t drink wine.

Then they came for the Ice Cream Scoops,
OH HECK NO. Call The National Guard, Call The Air National Guard, Call the Marines. This ain’t happening on my watch.

Then they gave the scoop back,
and there was no one left to speak cause they were all eating Ice Cream.

As an Ice Cream aficionado of Ice Cream Eating, I won’t let that stand. Just for the record, I spelled that word without assistance.

Okay we are not on a Date II, I haven’t been on a date this month. Although yesterday my friend asked me why I me and redacted haven’t went out on a date. I had no good answer for that, so I guess my goal should be to call up her and say. How’s it going name redacted? So I know that we did redacted last year. Then I got busy running for office, working second shift, and we didn’t get a chance to go on a second date. So I was wondering if we could give it another try.

Yeah that is some powerful stuff right there. So we will see now.

The word of the day is wowser which is an excessively puritanical person. This comes from our friends down in the south Australia and New Zealand.

So today we have work, work, and then no more work until Saturday. It isn’t hump day it is the last day of the work week. YEAH!!!

I’m watching Hitch right now, it isn’t on the dance scene. I want to see it, Q-Tip, Sprinkler, the Lawn Mower.

Cause Dancing isn’t a problem for me.

To the last penny

I was going to do this post on my way to the movies. I didn’t go to the movies, I had a change of plans.

Today is Tuesday 03/26/V3.3 & it is a great day.

I didn’t go see the movie, due to commitments to work. That I need to go to Place 4121 & Place 7007. I had to get things done. So instead of watching a movie, I took a nap. That’s how Vernon J gets things done.

So apparently Barack Obama is proud of the fact that he is the first President of the United States of America to say ‘Say Same Sex Couples Should Be Able to Get Married. He is also the first President of the United States of America to not present a budget when he is required too on at least 4 occasions. So look at this picture.

The word of the day is wrest which is to take away by force.

So I went to Definitive Vision to get my correction lenses looked at, they are rubbing on the back of my ear & need to be adjusted. They were closed until 13.30, but those are not their posted hours. I’m pretty disappointed in that behavior. Also my Sprint phone had a terrible time connecting to foursquare & ow.ly posting service.

I’ve also figured out when my new shift will be. Starting Sunday, 06/03 I’ll be working 06.00 to 15.30 Saturday – Thursday. I wanted morning shift, so I can go to my other two jobs. They had an 11:00 to 7:30 shift, but that would’ve screwed up my ability to work my 2nd & 3rd jobs.

Getting off at 15.30 actually helps, I can get to the other office by 17.00 & work till till 20.00 or 21.00. But first I get though VIII wekks of training which runs from 09.00 to 15.30. 1st shift, I hope you’ll welcome me back with open arms. We can do this.

Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, & Months

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday,

We have time, WE HAVE TIME!

Today is Wednesday 11/07/V3.3 & it is a brand new day in America.

As you know there was an election last night. I voted for Willard & Erica, those two individuals lost their elections. BUT everyone else I voted for won. I voted AGAINST term limits & voted FOR the other 3 amendments to the Nebraska Constitution. YES I’m disappointed that Barack Obama won the Presidency again.

This is how I feel about our future.

It scares me to think that my kids, your kids, will inherit debt. After the Revolutionary War & Civil war. They raised taxes to pay that debt. Everyone did their part. None of this ‘special classes’ we were America.

If you get a chance to watch I.O.U.S.A. The most important issue to me in ANY election is fiscal responsibility by the Government, local, state, & federal level. We need to raise taxes & cut spending. So we move on to MMXIII. There is an election in Omaha for the City Council & Mayor. Get out there and help support the candidate that you think will help Omaha.

The word of the day is glean which is to learn, discover, or find out, usually little or little or slowly.

I think if we had that power we would see less stupid stuff. YES I’m sure there is one or two people who would delete some of my posts. BUT as I would have that power as well, it would be okay.

So tomorrow I get bonus work at the City, I’m also volunteering with The Salvation Army to help with Christmas Sign-up. They offered overtime at First Data, but I don’t want to work overtime on Saturday. I want to enjoy my day off.

So now I get in the kitchen and wash dishes,
tomorrow I do laundry.

2 Books Read

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

I finished II books between Monday 10/29/V3.3 & Sunday 11/04/V3.3.

Today is Sunday 11/04/V3.3 & it started out pretty well. Do you see a trend here?

So last night I went to the Celebration of Mike & Tyson’s 32nd year. We went to the new(ly named) Harrison Pub. I behaved myself and no one got in trouble, at least to the best of my knowledge.

So the books I read was The Lens and the Looker & The Entitled. Both were good books & could be read in II days or less, you just have to NOT be distracted by work & stuff. I’m going to start on the second book of The Verona Trilogy.

So today is the Hump Day of my XI day journey. We are almost on the back half of this journey. I couldn’t be more excited for Saturday 11/10/V3.3. Now what to do on my day off? I do work half day(just 1 shift) I do have Thursday 11/08/V3.3 OFF!. I signed up to help with The Salvation Army Christmas Assistance Sign-UP. Then I just have one shift on Friday 11/09/V3.3. My doubles this week are Tuesday 11/06/V3.3.

The word of the day is siesta is a miday or afternoon rest or nap. Maybe I’ll grab one of those before work. I was up about 07.00. I can squeeze in a II hour nap.

On Tuesday Night I’m going to some event, that has been building since Tuesday 05/15/V3.3. The day we Nebraskans decided who was going to face off in the general election.

My Evening Report

Good Evening & one of the Happy days of the week.

I went to work today, it was a good day at work.

I burned my tongue on the soup I was eating

Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush are eligible for another term as President of the United States of America?

Would you give them another term?

I wore brown pants today, with a red/white striped shirt today.

I had an Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. The ones I made on Friday were better, that’s the truth.

So tomorrow I work and I think you do too.

I will probably watch Aladdin or a Disney movie tonight. Do you have recommendations?

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

I’m coming to you LIVE from Council Bluffs, IA.

Today is Sunday 10/21/V3.3 & it is a 4 hours & a dinner day.

Paul is here in Council Bluffs & I’m volunteering on parking lot|counter-ballot detail. I’m doing an awesome job.

I then head to the Ralston Events Center for the open house.
I’m not sure what I’ll be doing there.

Then it is time to clean, cook, & hangout with Mindi. I’m looking forward to that part of my day.

The word of the day is recusant which is a person who refuses to submit, comply, etc.

I work at job Number 2 Monday thru Friday this week. Thanks to Donna for taking my Saturday shift. I work the Saturday hockey game.

What is on your agenda this week?

So yeah, yesterday I worked 0700 to 1000 for overtime. You know how awesome it is waking people up. We can call as early as 07.00 VST. So people who enjoyed their Friday Nights got to hear. Good Morning is William Clinton there?

Went home & took a nap cause that’s what we do.

Then went to work & a tough game that we didn’t win. Came home & watched Fantastic Four. Then went to bed.

I made the executive decision not to do My Evening Report, since I’m the CEO of The Official Blog of Vernon J.

Good Afternoon & Happy Saturday,

You is me & Me is you depending on how we start the conversation.

Today is Saturday 10/20/V3.3 & it is MY time!!!!

So my day started at 0528 & I was at work at 0700. Just had to do III hours of overtime today. Let’s check how next week is looking. It isn’t looking that bad, I’m looking forward to it.

The word of the day is assoil which is to absolve’ acquit; pardon.

So I have a game at 1700 tonight, before I go though. I need to wash dishes.

Tomorrow is a big day & it became an even BIG day last night. I’ve signed up to help with Paul’s event in Council Bluffs. I then have work from 1300 to 1600. I’m entertaining around 1700 at home. NO you can’t come, you’re not invited. This is a Party for Two

I’m excited. I haven’t decided what I’m going to cook. I’m thinking smashed potatoes & asparagus. With some Ice Cream, two kinds. FULL Fat & Diet. I haven’t decided on a protein, it’ll either be pork or chicken. Let me know what you think.
