Way to do Some Good

Good Afternoon & Happy Saturday,

There are more ways then 1 to do some good.

Today is Saturday 12/14/V3.4 & it is Jon & Paula’s Birthday.

So we’ve all heard the stories of the Lay-A-Way Santas. Another one is making the rounds. ‘Layaway Santa’ rings up $21k for strangers – NBC News.com There is one good part of the story. If you read down to the bottom part about Stacey Weidner who was a recipant and also a provider. That is a way to do some good.

Work was FANTASTIC, it started off better than yesterday. Now the work is done for the week and we can enjoy our time off.

The dinner has been planned and it is bratwurst, Crinkle Cut Fries, and salidid for the end. I’ve already had some Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

Tomorrow is Sunday & Church Day.

The apartment hunt is going, we filled out an application near 108th & Q St. We are going to take a look at Villa Vinee, I’d prefer to live at Villa Vinee, it is closer to midtown/work. BUT that is the negotiating process

Today is Friday 11/15/V3.4. The FNP & Nicole’s Birthday are here.

The Double B is celebrating with me, you, and Tom McGhee. I’ve never met this Tom McGhee, but Mr. & Mrs. McGhee says he is alright.

A good day at work , they put Windows 7 on some of the machines at work. Although they put IE 8 on it. #fail. They also put an administrator password on installing Google Chrome, which they should’ve on since they let employees use computers. So 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. You never let your non-IT staff install anything on a computer, ANYTHING!

Don’t you hate when your computer restarts. Well my computer restarted itself sometime today & then shutdown.

The word of the day is maugre which is in spite of, notwithstanding.

So what’s going on tonight? Omaha’s Team is on at least two national stations. The Hockey boys are on CBS Sports Network, DJ’s Dugout 636 N. 114th St. Omaha, NE 68154. They will be streaming the men’s basketball game from UNLV.

Yesterday was a good & healthy day.

So yesterday I mentioned a TOP secret project. Well I’m here to tell you what that secret is now. I went to the Willa Cather Branch of the Omaha Public Library and picked up The Third Kingdom by Terry Goodkind. I also returned two books. Nothing fancy or secret about me.

So yesterday I went to The Berry & Rye establishment. It is a quiet fancy place. The drinks are not under $5, the atmosphere is what you are paying for. The water is Gluten Free, if you are ever in the area stop by.

Since I forgot

Since I forgot my book, I’ll do a blog entry.

So far today I’ve done the following: wash dishes, ate breakfast, adl’s, shave.

Look how clean it is.
I’m now heading to see Gravity. Nöpe didn’t see it on opening weekend.

I’m also wearing shorts. Yup you read that right. If is a respectable 13 degrees in November. Although there is suppose to be snow someone before this time next week. The care level isn’t there, that’s why I can’t & won’t narrow it down.

So after this post, there will be a post on twitter talking about 2/2. The last two ladies I have asked for there number, they gave them to me. Winning.

Well the weather check had held up. There was a 94% chance of it not raining during the morning commute. 8 blocks in & 45 left to go. I know a block isn’t a standardized unit of measurement. But that is what we chose to use right now.

The word of the day is snollygoster which is a clever, unscrupulous person.

Yesterday was a Fentastic day for me. How about you?

So I’m listening to Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz (Deluxe Edition); as you know I like Wrecking Ball. Do fat there is only one song I don’t like. It uses too many curse words. I’m not one for that language.

Today will be a fun day! That’s a statement of fact. Team Members are misbehaving themselves from Omaha to parts of North Carolina. But we aren’t breaking any laws, to the best of knowledge. If I ask I’ll know, so I won’t ask.

By time you read this. You’ll know that Omaha’s Team is in action at least four times this weekend. There are 5 contests this weekend, 8 before Monday. I’m seeing at least one, will listen/follow one tomorrow. Now I’ll also be watching the NASCAR race, so be prepared.

Lazy & Texts

Good Afternoon & Happy Sunday,

A Lazy day. Went to the store for my neighbor, and then went to church. Went to the store for myself. As I’m unloading my groceries I realized that I left my yogurt un-refrigerated when I brought it home yesterday.

Today is Sunday 10/06/V3.4 & it is Kylon’s Birthday!!!

So someone texted me and they seem cool. Until I asked them if they were watching the race. He responded I’m not gay. Which is clearly making a good impression on people. That isn’t acceptable or respectable behavior. What inspires someone to say that? Why not say No, or I don’t watch racing? What do you think of that?

I just did this: Dinosaur That’s how awesome I am.

So tonight I’m going to make me some burger, fries, and have a saladid. The burger is going to be ground chicken and italian sausage with respective seasonings. The fries will be home made and fried on the stove.

Well it is getting to be the cold season in the living area, I wanted to put on my too small sweat pants, but couldn’t find them. They are too small (by length), it is tough when you are my size. If you get the sweat pants from the Big & Tall store they are two big. The smallest waist they have is 42-44XL. Which is 8 sizes too big, not that I would ever wear sweat pants outside the privy of my front door. I’ll wear them to the laundry room and that is it. I know it is a First World Problem though.

As I’m looking at imgur, I came across this.

Looking forward to this week. The University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks Hockey team returns to the ice. This time tomorrow the CenturyLink Center will be lit up and ready for some Hockey.

I’ve come to know John Hodgson over twiter and we’ve skyped once. He is a single day who lives in South Dakota. Enjoys some Dairy Queen and is a truck owner. He operates out of the Sioux Falls, SD area. Logistics Solutions. Great Guy, but he does like the Huskers Football Team.

Heading & it’ll be alright

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

We are headed in the right direction, currently south on 42nd.

Today is Sunday 09/29/V3.4 & it’ll be alright.

I was disappointed in something that happened on Friday morning. But I asked the important question and got the answers I needed. This happens. All is well on the team.

Yesterday was a great day. Work, NASCAR, nap, connecting with leaders in the Omaha community. Good luck to everyone running & serving. It takes quite the effort to do what you have decided to do.

The word of the day is contrail which is a visible condensation of water droplets or ice crystals, occurring in the wake of an aircraft.

I’m heading to church today, haven’t been in a while. This is why I changed my schedule to accommodate. It is also coming upon the snow season.

After church the world is WIDE open until 1500. Going to go play tennis, or whatever happens out there. My tennis game is worse than my golf game.

I have at least two things I need to do. One of those is cook so I can eat. I told her I would do that. She asked if I was cooking. She is happy I cook, just wait until she taste it.

What am I looking forward to this week? Since I don’t have any work or activities of daily living planned. Im looking forward to EVERYTHING!

Today is Friday 09/27/V3.4 & I’m hitting the ground.

Okay that is a Keith Urban song, but it works for today.

I don’t know how to start this entry, cause last night was awesome. I’m also in temporary possession of balloons.

Going a little different with the ‘first’ one. Although this is our date before our previously scheduled date. That’s how we are going to do things.

After our date, I’ll go home and take a nap. Cause I’m going to Oktoberfest tonight. Brad, Jim, & others will be there. You can also come to The Crescent Moon Alehouse. It is the biggest party. I’ll have this shirt on.

Last nights Taco Ride was great. Meet new people, saw the stars.

Today is Tuesday 09/17/V3.4 & it is BBQ & Pints night.

I wish I would’ve checked the rain guage yesterday for today. Me & my trusty Omaha umbrella are ready to be dry though. Always protecting me when I need it.

What is protecting you when you need it?

There is more than an umbrella protecting me. I’ve got god, bike helmet, lights, brakes, & reflective vest. Can forget about my health insurance, which I’m grateful to have.

The word of the day is fleer which is a grin or laugh coarsely or mockingly.

Well I had a good day at work, I worked and did stuff.

Good Morning & Happy Thursday,

So Under the Dome is 1,071 pages & that isn’t enough.

Today is Thursday 08/29/V3.4 & it is Game Night in some location that isn’t Omaha.

So I finished reading Stephen King’s Under the Dome and it is 1,071 pages. That doesn’t seem to have been enough though. I walked away having questions, but that is okay. The dome came down because of the kids. They compared it to a kid, his magnifying glass, and ants. The ants have lives too. I also don’t know if you watch the TV Show, but James Rennie does die in the end, Junior dies in the end, all the bad guys die in the end. The book as usually is better than a movie or teevee. I also think this is the BIGGEST book I’ve read from cover to cover. I also paid my $5.00 fine.

So I’m hearing that there will be a National ‘Fast Food Strike’ today. If you aren’t working today, this is what you should do. Walk into a restaurant where they are striking and talk to the store manager. Inform them you are ready to work today, then as you leave be like. I just took your job, & I’m Lovin’ It, or whatever said restaurant’s slogan is. There are people willing to work in our nation, and once you agree to work for a company.

Well now that I’ve went on a couple political rants, I’ll bring you the good news.

YUP I’m having burrito’s for dinner tonight. I’m also going to take a nap and do laundry. Probably go get some Ice Cream too. I might go out on the towne and show you what’s up.
