I’m writing to you because you have expressed your opinion & displeasure with companies recruiting employees.
The companies are reaching out to see if there is a market for their services.
Looking at the response of readers & social media there is one.
I am an alternative transportation guy. I ride my bike, I ride Metro, I walk, & I get rides with associates & have paid them money to provide that service.
I have also on occasion (twice) taken a jitney to a location.
I say you give the new companies a fair chance to succeed.
Now I’ve been on the PSC website & can’t see a place to download or apply for a license.
I also heard you are considering raising rates in the 5% range for the current taxi fare structure. Which is all the more reason we need additional operator’s in the state.

Today is Tuesday 03/11/V3.4 & it is Brad’s Birthday. Happy Birthday Brad.
Tonight is the 2nd US Senate debate at the UNO Alumni Center. I’m on the 3/5ths fence. There is a 3 out of 5 chance i will it won’t go.
If I go I won’t get home until after 8 or 9.
I don’t have to work my other jib this week, so going home after work is really a treat this week. I do enjoy my treats. Unlike these hard cookies from unnamed grocery.
I may not have named the store, but I know you can read. 
Yesterday went well, work was good. Someone noticed my haircut, or they read my blog & trying to be smooth. I’ll go with the noticed it. A. Cause she said it looked shorter.
Got home opened the windows & patio door.
It was cleaning day as well. I got caught up on some recorded TV.

I posted about chances earlier, there is a chance to improve life that I haven’t taken.

So MAF & I was discussing going to the University of Nebraska Omaha Hockey game Friday.
Today is Wednesday 01/29/V3.4 & after being in Omaha since 2004, I paid money on my 1st MUD Bill.
She told me that the weather is suppose to get bad on Friday. Well I told her that #VernonJ ain’t got time for that. I haven’t watched weather reports or diagnosis all week. The weather is going to do what the weather is going to do. Vernon J is going to do what Vernon J is going to do. Vernon J, Jim, Bridget, Jon, & several other thousand people are going to go down to the CenturyLink Center Omaha and see the Mavs in Action.

Now I had my Douglas County Republican Party Central Committee meeting yesterday. I do have one thing to say about the actions of a certain candidate and his current supporters.
That wasn’t professional at best & disrespectful at worse.
Speaking of the 2014 elections. I moved to District 12 (no I’m not in Hunger games), and I see on facebook last night that Jon (another one) got visited by Merv Reipe. He is running for LD 12 & I was glad to see he is going door to door. That’s what a candidate should do. Merv I’ll be giving you a call today/tomorrow. I wanna know what I can do to get you elected. The Fightin’ Twelfth.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! Today is Tuesday 11/19/V3.4 & it is a day to rejoice.
We have 1000’s of smiles we can see throughout the week, are you contributing to the average?
I picked a short sleeve shirt, I then changed my mind and grabbed a sweater.
This was me lady night before 2100.
A nice relaxing evening & all wrapped up. I was in bed by 2115. A good night’s sleep was had. No dreams cine to mind right now.
The 2nd thong I changed my mind about was lunch. I remember I had some tortilla chips & bacon ranch cheddar dip. I was disappointed in the number of broken chips though. I had to be selective in my selection.
The word of the day is commix which is to mix together; blend.
Mayor Ford’s issue reminds me of the recall effort of Omaha’s last Mayor. Mayor Ford had done multiple illegal & questionable things. He is acting like it is right. Aside from the legality issues, some would consider it a moral issue. I’m one of those people.
Now the City Council can’t remove him from office and he isn’t resigning. Here in Nebraska we can petition to recall someone cause they wore black shoes instead of brown shoes. Both of those situations are extreme.
Elected officials should be removed or recalled for sound verifiable actions against the law. Inconsistent leadership is a failure of a Government body.
