Education Reform

On Friday, October 9, Nebraska Education Commissioner, Dr. Matt Blomstedt, and the Nebraska Department of Education released the preliminary results of the 2017 NeSA test (the statewide education assessment). Why would the commissioner and department release the info on the eve of a three-day weekend? They were trying to hide the results: barely 50% of our kids meet the grade-level expectations for reading and language arts! http://ow.ly/C9fN30fWYKW
