We Designed

Let’s hope the design is better than last week.

Good Morning & Happy Thursday Folks. It is a great day in Omaha, but did you miss me?

Today is Thursday 10/31/V3.4 & it is Halloween.

Yeah, I just got a call to win an iPad, yeah I’m going to go ahead and pass.

Well after laundry today I’m going to nap. I was going to stay in bed a little bit longer, but I didn’t. I have washed dishes, ate breakfast, watched The Morning Blend. I’m watching Person of Interest from Tuesday while I put these characters to other characters.

The word of the day is phantasmagoric which is having a fantastic or deceptive appearance.

So there have been two things (actually three) that have been bothering me.

1st North Dakota letter. This lady is clarifying her position on childhood obesity. People are upset about this, read comments on any page that carries that story.

2nd Also recently in Omaha someone wanted to build a house. They found opposition from the neighbors and the quasi-government historical society. They have said they will be building their house somewhere else in the metro. There were no objective criteria of what is considered a historic house. 25 years ago is history today, so is 50, so is 75. Today will be history tomorrow.

Have a great day.

Quotes from the World for Thursday 10/31/MXIII

There is nothing funny about Halloween. This sarcastic festival reflects, rather, an infernal demand for revenge by children on the adult world.

Quotes from the World for Wednesday 10/30/MXIII

Our children need to be able to see us take a stand for a value and against injustices, be those values and injustices in the family room, the boardroom, the classroom, or on the city streets.

You’re on Notice

The lights are back on, THE LIGHTS ARE BACK ON!

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday. Today is 10/30/V3.4 & it is the penultimate day of October MMXIII.

Yesterday was a good day, got to ‘talk’ to my friend after I got home. Always bring a smile to my face.

Raheem would like to sing you a song – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6UQY7PjODA

The word of the day is obsequy which is a funeral rite or ceremony.

As I’ve declared on the 2nd & like 5th noisy popular social networks. Today is going to be a fun day. I’m not sure why, but I’m laughing & smiling.

Today is my 3/4ths day. Team VJC was suppose to go to Kansas City so I took Saturday off. We are going to Lincoln instead, I’m still taking it off. It is Corey’s Birthday. He is the C. So Friday night Lincoln you better inform your daughters that they will have choices.

I want to discuss the Fremont City Council meeting. But the only person who cared to comment yesterday lives in Austin. I posted a picture of the reporters take on it. I’ve read the wrapup from Omaha.com, so I guess I’m crafting a response to the issue. Don’t worry the City Council members won’t look good.

Well here’s to me, you, & them having a fun day.

Restrain

“Restrain, O Lord, the human pride That seeks to thrust Your truth aside Or with some man-made thoughts or things Would dim the words Your Spirit sings.” Amen. (LSB 585:5).

Quotes from the World for Tuesday 10/29/MXIII

If a man knew anything, he would sit in a corner and be modest; but he is such an ignorant peacock, that he goes bustling up and down, and hits on extraordinary discoveries.

The outrage

We are oatraging against the outrage.
Today is Tuesday 10/29/V3.4 & it must be the £€¥$.

We are going to be rolling in boiling water for five minutes. Then we will rest for 3 mins.

So the NSA is spying on our European allies? Could their version of the NSA be spying on us?

The world may never know.

So don’t be outraged.

Maybe if the Central Intelligence Agency was actually the Central Intelligence Agency we wouldn’t need the NSA. What?

My CIA is here

Not here

The knee has the job of being the hinge for my upper & lower leg. All working together to make it a GREAT day.

Well I made sausage gravy today. It is yummy.

Well I also left my cash at home. I need to pick up one or two things before home. I think I’ll be okay though.

What are you doing today?

Opening Day

It is opening day for the rest of our life.

Today is Monday 10/28/V3.4 & it is Melissa & Rob’s Birthday. No relation.

It was a pretty good day at work, I was celebrating on the way home. Lots of way to do that.

Did you sparkle today?

The word of the day is somnambulism which is sleepwalking. I’m glad that I don’t have to worry about that.

Let’s do a rundown of the week ahead.

  • Monday – Nothing
  • Tuesday – Pint Night & a possible Bible Study.
  • Wednesday – Just a day at work
  • Thursday – Nothing
  • Friday Going to the capital city after hours.
  • Saturday – Nothing
  • Sunday – Nothing.

Make it a GREAT day.

Quotes from the World for Monday 10/28/MXIII

A mind that questions everything, unless strong enough to bear the weight of its ignorance, risks questioning itself and being engulfed in doubt. If it cannot discover the claims to existence of the objects of its questioning—and it would be miraculous if it so soon succeeded in solving so many mysteries—it will deny them all reality, the mere formulation of the problem already implying an inclination to negative solutions. But in so doing it will become void of all positive content and, finding nothing which offers it resistance, will launch itself perforce into the emptiness of inner revery.
