Down, You’re Down?

Good Afternoon & Happy Monday,

You’re down, well what are they suppose to do now?

Today is Monday 02/25/V3.3 & it is a 1st shift kinda day.

Well I worked overtime this morning 10.00 to 13.00. They included a 55% bonus on top of my overtime hours to work today. So I signed up. Plus that gives me Saturday off (ie I don’t have to work overtime).

I have a board planning session this evening & e-mail to check after I post this.

The word of the day is yare which is quick; agile; lively.

Apparently one of my ‘oh let’s research this’ project is coming. OPS apparently has renegotiated their contract with Braid Holm & according to a reporter from OPS this is there officially attorney of record.

LPS is currently using a lawyer from an outside firm, but they are not comparable in size to OPS. Now the decision of comparable can be students, populations, budget. That goes into the research portion.

I think that’s it for now.

Good Morning & Happy Sunday,

I don’t have anything to start with today.

Today is Sunday 02/24/V3.3 & it is the 55th Annual Running of the Daytona 500!

I will miss my first Daytona 500 in a few years. BUT I’ve got my PVR set up to record it.

I’m going to church today, we have Discover Your Gifts at 09.30 to about 10.30. We then service.

I’m then going to First Data until 23.00.

The word of the day is xeric which is adapted to a dry environment.

That’s how it is going

Good Morning & Happy Saturday,


From the posting of this, you would think UNO did something wrong. You couldn’t be more wrong.

Today is Saturday 02/23/V3.3 & there is a calm before the storm.

If you read the article, you’ll see that

Karen Paul, the archivist with the U.S. Senate, agreed.

 

She said she would be surprised if an archive the size of Hagel’s was ready to be opened. She also agreed that it’s “pretty standard practice” for a library to deny access until the entire collection has been processed.

It is pretty unexciting now isn’t it BUT I guess that’s how the media works, and I’m holding them to a higher standard. That would be an indication of why I may or may not have got blocked by 2 television stations from twitter, and also can’t comment on one of their facebook pages.

Today is a work day for me 11.45 to about 15.00. Let’s do this, just a few hours. Vernon J’s gotta do what Vernon J’s gotta do.

The word of the day is whipsaw which is to subject to two opposing forces at the same time.

I gotta get breakfast going.

Pizza Topping

So I bought some Totino’s Party Pizzas. I got two Sausage.

The Sausage is made with Chicken & Pork. Seems normal, I’ve heard of both of those meats.

They also have:

  • Canadian Style Bcon
  • Cheese
  • Classic Pepperoni
  • Combination
  • Hamburger
  • Mexican Style
  • Pepperoni
  • Triple Pepperoni
  • Sausage
  • Supreme
  • Triple Cheese and
  • Triple Meat

Now some of those seem like normal ingredients you could find in the store.

I highlighted Combination & Triple Meat. They contained a topping called Pizza Topping. Combination is Sausage, Pizza Topping, with Pepperoni Seasoning.

NOW to me Pizza Topping isn’t an ingredient. Pizza Topping is what you put on the the pizza after the bread, sauce and cheese. BUT I don’t work for Totino’s I’m pretty sure I’ll send them an e-mail.

BUT in the mean time, if any of my readers could answer the question. I would be able to sleep better.

Today’s Adventure

Good Morning & Happy Friday!!!

Today’s Adventure has been pretty well. Got up at 07.50ish due to someone scraping their car windows. That is on top of the plow that came though during sleepy time.

Today is Friday 02/22/V3.3 & it will be a day to Begin Again!!!

I’ve already been to the ATM, Grocery Store this morning. Taking care of business, like a #VernonJ.

I got a break today, my supervisor said I didn’t have to go into work today. We would’ve had to be there 5 mins ago. I’m sure nobody would’ve come in though. The only downside to this is that Michelle didn’t get me to bring her any breakfast. She’s a medium size lady, & I’m sure she’ll be fine. Also I won’t name names, but her co-workers looked better with her glasses & the hair the way it was today.

These are the wings that was eaten in the Twisted Pine Ghost Face Killah Beer & Wing Challenge. image I didn’t eat this particular wings, when I took this picture I had already consumed my wings.

I ate 10 wings & drank a beer in 1 minute & 54 seconds. I came in fifth place. The winner finished in 1 minute & 8 seconds.

The word of the day is umber which is shade; shadow. When I came out of N Frills with my Food Bank for the Heartland & Baker’s reusable bag the sun was shining. That would create a umber.

Also their customer service left something to be desired, I went to the ‘check yourself out’ & the lady kept leaving. Took about an extra 3 to 5 mins of my time cause she just couldn’t stay put. NOW to be fair, she was helping other employees back another customers grocery.

So now I’m going to go & wash dishes & put my Pizza & Tater Puffs in the oven for dinner. I still have to go to work tonight. We aren’t on a level & that means I have to be there on time. Which means I have to catch the early bus, cause they are running on winter time.

It is National Margarita Day. My friend Dawn told me about this National Holiday, yet another reason why I shouldn’t have to go to work.
