My Evening Report

Good Evening & how was your Friday!

It’s been 3 days since I posted a blog entry 3 days ago.

That’s all for My Evening Report!

No Tax Increase

The following is an e-mail to my City Council Member.

I’m sure you’ve heard about the UNMC | Cancer Center Project.

It is a great idea. Douglas County has already pledged $5,000,000 from inheritance tax. That isn’t an increase in taxes, so it is less importance. NOT that is a better/best use of resources. They already have $50,000,000 million from the state.

Stay tuned to other (additional) news sources about this.

Also remember that City Council Members are up for elections in MMXIII. Also the President of the University of Nebraska is appointed by the Regents (who we elect as well).

Proud to Offer

Good Morning & Happy FNP!

I’m proud to offer you the best I got. Are you giving me & others the best you got?

Today is Friday 09/14/V3.2 & it is a Rockin’ kinda party.

Well I am happy to report that today is my last day of work at FD for the week. I don’t know how happy this makes me, but I am smiling.

We started with a bang, getting up a little earlier than our alarm was set for.

Let’s end it with a boom, I don’t know what’s going on between here & there but it will be a fun ride.

This week’s FNP is proudly sponsored by Omaha Storm Chasers, as they are playing in Game III of the PCL Championship. They won it all last year & they are just two wins away from repeating as champs. I would love to see that. Game time is 19.05.

The other sponsor is Omaha’s Volleyball Team. They are playing at 19.00 today against Summit League opponents from University of South Dakota Jackrabbits. Well they are going to hop into some trouble. Will you be there?

The word of the day is ecru which is very light brown in color, as raw silk, unbleached linen, etc.

Happy FNP!

Quotes from the World for Friday 09/14/MMXII

Since the quarrel
Will bear no color for the thing he is,
Fashion it thus: that what he is, augmented,
Would run to these and these extremities.

Shakespeare
William Shakespeare (1564–1616), British dramatist, poet. Brutus, in Julius Caesar, act 2, sc. 1, l. 28-31.

Finding specious reasons to join the conspiracy, and admitting it cannot be justified (“Will bear no color”) by what Caesar has done.
