My Evening Report

Good Evening & Happy Thursday.

Apparently today wasn’t the last day of August MMXII no matter what you read on some blogs.

My shoulders were on fire at the end of work, I don’t know why. It was also a really boring shift. I just wanted to curl up in the corner & nap the 8 hours away. BUT apparently there are ‘rules’ & I have to live by their rules.

You would be surprised how much effort it take to do a good deed, that was a complete failure on my part.  It’s okay, cause tomorrow will be better.

You know how I know this, because I SAID SO!

I came across Caity’s – Thatz not okay pieces on Gawker. I submitted a question & I will answer one that was submitted to her.

The question is:

What’s the policy on putting off Facebook friending? I think it makes sense to explain to someone you’ve just started seeing that you don’t want to be Facebook friends until you’ve been dating a few months. It seems less awkward than having them go nuts if something happens (i.e. I’m a jerk or they are a nutjob.) Is that okay?

I think it is perfectly acceptable to NOT add people on facebook friending anyone. Weather you are dating them (no one currently) or have know them for several years, ie Spencer). I will follow you on twitter, I will e-mail you, I will call, write, & text you. BUT if I don’t add you on facebook, don’t be mad. (editors note, Vernon J doesn’t use facebook) Just know that I respect our relationship & if we are dating I’m not afraid to tell you, mama McGee, & Papa Rice.

Have a GREAT sleep!

Always

Good Morning & Happy Thursday,

We are always trying to make this place a better place to live.

Today is Thursday 08/30/V3.3 & it is the last day of August MMXII. I think it is the last day unless there is something someone didn’t tell me.

Will You take part to make your world a better place? Cause that is the expectation that I have for you. I won’t tell you to do it, cause I can’t tell anyone to do anything. BUT do know that I have expectations & you can disappoint me if you feel those expectations.

If you want to know what my expectations are, they are pretty simple. Treat everyone with  Respect & be the best person you can be. It ain’t that hard.

Don’t be the guy/girl on the bus who doesn’t give up your sear to the mother pushing the stroller. NO this didn’t happen to me, but I heard about it.

The word of the day is crucible which is a severe, searching test or trial.

Have a Great Day.

Quotes from the World for Thursday 08/30/MMXII

I am afraid I am one of those people who continues to read in the hope of sometime discovering in a book a single—and singular—piece of wisdom so penetrating, so soul stirring, so utterly applicable to my own life as to make all the bad books I have read seem well worth the countless hours spent on them. My guess is that this wisdom, if it ever arrives, will do so in the form of a generalization.

My Evening Report

Good Evening & hooker heels.

I could’ve helped it, but I chose not to. Is that going to be a problem?

Oh it is? Look below for how I feel about that.

Now that we got that out of the way I can continue with my awesome 134th edition of My Evening Report.

It is currently 16.39 & I wrote chinese for the first time today. If I remember I’ll get a picture of it for you readers.

Cause I feel that I love you & I want you to be aware of my awesome ability to copy chinese from a computer screen.

More to come later, have to be back to ‘work’ in IV mins & I need to refill my drink container.

It feels SO GOOD outside!

Nope I’m not married yet & my mom stopped cooking for me I learned how to do it way back in 1994. I also don’t smoke, cause its bad for you. NOT a lot of Yes in that conversation. Its okay cause I still got a smile on my face.

So as I was riding home I saw the moon behind a moon size cloud. It was an amazing site.

I have to

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday,

I have to tinkle & other tings you actually have to do.

Today is Wednesday 08/29/V3.3 & it is Day II of the work week. A V day journey of an endless loop.

We are XLIII minutes into our day, YES OUR DAY. You & Me. I’ve put some chow down my gullet & watching  The Big Bang Theory, Leonard gets some nookie from Mrs. Latham.

The word of the day is truncate which is to shorten by cutting off a part; cut short.

I need something to write about.

I was asked to discuss Pumpkins & Hay bales

PussDaddy Blogs indicated that I should discuss Pumpkins & Haybales with 35 – degree temperatures.

The word pumpkin originates from the word pepon which is Greek for “large melon”. Pumpkin is a fruit of the species Cucurbita pepo or Curcurbita mixta. Pumpkins can grow on 6 of the 7 continents.

The traditional pumpkin grown in the American continent is the Connecticut Field variety. Did you know Connecticut is the 5th state admitted to the union on January 9th, 1788. I’ve made pumpkin bread/pie from sugar pumpkin. I’ve also made art from a regular pumpkin.

Hay bales come from hay. Commonly used plants for hay include mixtures of grasses, such as rye grass (Lolium species), timothy, brome, fescue, Bermuda grass, orchard grass, and other species, depending on the region.

Hay is baled for easy transport & use in animal fodder for livestock, rabbits, and guinea pigs.

The average pumpkin growing day 100 to 110 days. Hay has a two week window where it is the ‘sweet spot’, cut it too early will not cure & produce a lower yield per acre than longer, more mature grass. Hay cut too late is coarser, lower in resale value and has lost some of its nutrients. Hay grows in Spring & Early Summer.

Well I’ve learned lots about Pumpkins & Hay

Quotes from the World for Wednesday 08/29/MMXII

Reason is a faculty far larger than mere objective force. When either the political or the scientific discourse announces itself as the voice of reason, it is playing God, and should be spanked and stood in the corner.
