Just another day in the life & times of Vernon J.
I had like 2 highlights today. We are in our final push for the primary. We want to hit over 1,000(or until we run out of lit) doors between now & Monday. I was able to hit about 80 in 3 hours. Do you think you can do 50 in 3 hours?
<rant> IF you had someone? IF you had someone? </rant>It ain’t over till she says yes.
So we are starting tomorrow about 09.00 at Aksarben Village Farmers Market. Just going to stand around & look pretty. Take some lit & hopefully talk to some people who live in Legislative District 9.
Back to the High Light. I am on the 2nd go round in my neighborhood. I went to a house who had a SH sign. She stopped me & we talked, she is an independent. She asked me if I was a tea party member. I responded nope, that I’m not endorsed by them, but I do believe in reducing the federal debt & a balanced budget. She than asked about the voter id & if I truly believed in it. YES I do. She said that she is a lawyer & that all the opponents views were just smoke. She also asked if I thought EF had a chance, well I got two reasons why I don’t want her two. Cause I wanna win & she isn’t the best candidate. OF COURSE I’m biases. She said that she was forced to put up a SH sign. BUT I can count on her vote if I make it past the primary. YEAH!!!
P.S. Stand your ground & defend your issues. EVEN when you don’t know where they stand. YOU just might be thinking the same thing.
