Good Morning & Happy Weekend.

My 1st question of the day was. ‘What kinda day awaits us?”

Well I went to the laundry area & there was a quarter in the machine.

I think it’ll be an awesome kinda day.

Today is Thursday 05/03/V3.2 & it is the 1st day of the 1st weekend of the 1st May of MMXI.  You like that don’t you.  Go ahead & make a thumbs or or make a heart motion.

Well as I just mentioned I am doing laundry today & then I need to make a run on the bank. This is a god think, I’m making a deposit. Even if I did make what is historically a ‘run on the bank’, it would be fine. The bank wouldn’t fail, I don’t have that much liquidity.

So I’m listening to this, I don’t want a miracle. I won’t a mention, text or call, that way I know where we stand. It is hard to do the defining when you aren’t communicating. ‘closure’

NO I’m not upset that my landlord is renting to me & to the other unmarried one. YEAH we aren’t married, but we do believe in small business. We decided to rent from the same person. I’m am upset though that he said, “I know her mom better”. She isn’t her mom.

My name is Vernon J, I’m XXXII years old. I ride bikes (now drive a car that Toyota Financial Services kindly lets me rent from them for convenient monthly payments). I graduated from from Loy Norrix High School with honors and University of Nebraska Omaha. I’ve been employed full-time or a student and part-time employed since I was 17 years old. I’ve signed up to serve my country in the United States Army.

I have worked as a corn detasseler(I sucked at that job to be honest), I have mowed grass during the summer, and delivered the paper int he winter. I was a bus boy at Russ’, I made bagels at Big Apple Bagels, I worked at Meijer overnights. I was a model, resident adviser, janitor, research assistant at Northern Michigan University. I was an intern at Housing and Urban Development in Washington, D.C. I’ve had fun at amusement parks, I’ve worked at Little Caesars.

My most rewarding job was working at The Salvation Army and Food Bank for the Heartland. I currently work at First Data from 14.30 to 23.00, because you gotta start somewhere, and that is what it takes to be successful.

I had a rough childhood, but I didn’t let that stop me.

I’ve developed great relationships, personally and professional.

I’ve served my communities that I’ve lived in Kalamazoo, Marquette, Omaha, Washington, D.C. I currently spend 3 to 4 hours a month on projects for Joslyn Castle Neighborhood Association. A strong neighborhood makes the community a better place. I volunteer with The Salvation Army when there is a local or regional emergency. IF I can help I will.

I believe that the foster care system in Nebraska needs improvement. I know that the children who go into the system are struggling with the broken trust that their parents or caregivers actions has lead to. I know that Bill is a high school counselor and would like to be able to re-direct Jon without going to court. I know that Drew is a small business owner and is sick of the regulations and unfair service tax that is levied on his business, so he became involved in contacting his elected officials. I know that there are people out there who would like to see our youth stay out of jail when they do something wrong.

I believe in lower taxes and more opportunity for every Nebraska. I want every day in Nebraska to be better and live up to The Good Life.

I have been serving and want to continue to serve.

I go by Vernon J because I am not my mothers son or my fathers son. I had great foster parents who helped me be the man that I am today.
