Field-effect transistor

The field-effect transistor (FET) is a transistor that relies on an electric field to control the shape and hence the conductivity of a channel of one type of charge carrier in asemiconductor material. FETs are sometimes called unipolar transistors to contrast their single-carrier-type operation with the dual-carrier-type operation of bipolar (junction) transistors (BJT). The concept of the FET predates the BJT, though it was not physically implemented until after BJTs due to the limitations of semiconductor materials and the relative ease of manufacturing BJTs compared to FETs at the time.

Lighter Note

As my last 3 posts have been calls to action.

I’m going to make this an entry that you can just read & walk away.

Kinda like going to Dairy Queen & they are saying it is ‘FREE‘ Blizzard Day. Speaking of that I haven’t had a Blizzard in awhile.  I’m not sure I’ve had one since my last day at Food Bank for the Heartland. But I’ve digress, Ice Cream has that effect on me.

Okay here is my walk away moment.

Look at the cute cuddly turtle.

Recall US Senators.

William Crain & Stewart Rhodes would like to recall their U.S. (That’s United States of America) Senators because they voted for the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011.

These two gentleman do NOT have a website for this effort, don’t get me started on how big of a fail that is. The story is posted on the Daily Kos, here is the url-http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/12/25/1048711/-Montanans-Launch-Recall-of-Senators-Who-Approved-NDAA-Military-Detention-Merry-Christmas,-US-Senate.

I’m glad this gentlemen are taking pride in the business & protesting the choices made by Senator Max S. Baucus & Senator Jonathan Tester.

Thanks for reading The Official Blog of Vernon J.

I don’t wanna promise there will be less political slanted blog entries tomorrow. Tomorrow is Wednesday after all, unless are you Rebecca ?. W. who I indicated that it may have been Wednesday morning early today.  It wasn’t I checked.

Who to Vote for in U.S. Senate category

As you may have read on the twitter feed of Vernon J. Nebraska’s Senior Senator is retiring & will no longer serve us in that capacity. ‘You don’t read Vernon J’s twitter feed’

Well now that we have that issue out of the way. We no longer have to Give Ben the Boot.  I urge you to do your research & vote for the most qualified candidate that is out there.  I know who I’ll be voting for, but to see the entire list of candidates currently running visit a multitude of websites. Wikipedia has a nice section of the 5 Republican Candidates who has declared. Jon Bruning, Deb Fischer, Pat Flynn(I’m running as his Vice -Senator), Don Stenberg, & Spencer Zimmerman. There have been no declared Democratic Candidates as of this posting.

That is the jest of it, now below here I will tell you how it is going down on my ballot. *warning biased info*

Any Chance

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday,

Is there any chance that what you are thinking about can be done with a few words expressed.

Today is Tuesday 12/27/V3.2. These Days are going by.

I get to go to work today, as I usually do on my non-days off.

The word of the day is adventive which is Not native and usually not yet well established, as exotic plants or animals.

I’ve eaten breakfast this morning & made plans for New Years Day. My friend is having a party on New Years Day, which means my New Years Eve is still wide open. If you wanted to invite me for a shindig, I’m ready for some spazmatronic dancing. Cause dancing is awesome.

If you missed the amazing information, the United States of America Junior National Team beat the Denmark Junior National Team 11 to 3 in hockey yesterday. BEST Country ever, GO USA!. The next game is Wednesday 12/28/V3.2 & the start time is 12.30 VST. Tune into USA Hockey’s site for more information.

Have a GREAT & MARVELOUS Tuesday!

Who you gonna vote for?

I’m not saying who you should vote for in the Republican Presidential Primaries. But Newt Gingrich has lied about who filed for divorce from his 1st of 3 wives. Story here (http://www.cnn.com/2011/12/26/politics/gingrich-divorce-file/index.html)

As you know every story is basis, even stories on The Official Blog of Vernon J. At the current point, this one is unbiased.

Nebraska’s Primary is Tuesday 05/15/V3.2. You can find the entire list right here. http://www.2012presidentialelectionnews.com/2012-republican-primary-schedule/.

My friend Nicole has asked me who I’m going to vote for. I don’t know I haven’t done my independent research enough to make an informed decision. YOU can’t commit to a client without doing your research. I currently have reasons for not voting for certain candidates, but those aren’t solid reasons. That is unacceptable to vote that way.

I guess by the end of January that I will have made a decision that will impact the final vote count.

Quotes from the World for Tuesday 12/27/MMXI

The pursuit of perfection, then, is the pursuit of sweetness and light…. He who works for sweetness and light united, works to make reason and the will of God prevail.

Matthew Arnold
Matthew Arnold (1822–1888), British poet, critic. Culture and Anarchy, ch. 1 (1869).

These words recall Swift’s evocation of mankind’s “two noblest of things, which are sweetness and light.” (See culture.).
